I need to start earning money so I can hire people to do this! This stuff spins my head out of control! I know it is important. I am too much a rule follower, wanting to dot every "I" and cross every "T". As I was working through the workbook, I am thinking, there is no way I am getting this done, this week! Then I watched the video! The CTA at the end of the video is simple, easy and much more enjoyable! this day is just telling me I have a long way to go to "get there". (being on top of everything). I did make some changes to my channel as suggested in the lesson. My banner I think is more clear on what to expect on my channel. And I redid a couple of thumbnails to make them pop more, I hope! I need a good sense of humor to do this stuff. One question in the workbook asks, "What is the overall impression of your last 5 thumbnails?" Well, I think I figured out why YT doesn't know what to do with me. My answer, "A random woman, talking random things!" Oh, Lord help me! The learning curve is real and long for me. What fascinated me on Day 15, the Title? Sometime in December, Alexa updated the workbook to reflect on 2026! Or did this Challenge come out for the first time in 2025? I did all the videos starting in 2025, I didn't do the workbook until going through the challenge this time. Now you know how easy it is for me to get distracted! One little thought can send me down 30 minutes of questions and wondering! Back on task! Day 15, I actually liked doing this day. I didn't understand it at all the first time watching the video. (A great reason to repeat the challenge). The BIG take aways on Day 15 ➡Numbers tell the truth ➡YT gives feedback if you are willing to look at it. ➡YT is concerned with the Viewer (not the creator) ➡YT main goal ➡ KEEP PEOPLE WATCHING! ➡YT rewards videos that keep people engaged. ➡Watch time tells YT you are a TRUSTED CREATOR ➡Growth comes from ppl watching (not more videos or longer videos) ➡thumbnail + title + topic Bottom Line ➡YT wants to SATISFY the viewer! Since YT honors the viewer, I had to ask myself, "Who am I honoring with my videos?" Have you ever heard the phrase, "Truth will first P*$$ you off before it sets you FREE!" The honest truth, I haven't really thought too much about the viewer for the last 2 years! I believe my channel is God honoring, my #1 focus. However, who am I honoring when I making content I like to make, I want to do, I have fun with? And the answere to that is, "ME", the one person who needs to be taken out of the equation. Is there much difference between a Trusted Creator and a Trusted Servant? I don't think so, both are serving, the question I had to ask myself, and I hate to admit, growth is about trust. Growing capacity is about baby steps of continued trustful acts of service. Looking at the numbers is definitely a WAKE UP CALL! I am improving in the AVD arena, going from 1:46 one year ago, today it is 2:35. That is almost one minute increase of watch time per video. So hurray something is making a difference! To improve the AVD, rehook every 30-60 seconds! Now that I am aware, I can add to my scripts some rehooks! The goal is to get the average percent viewed to 50% - mine is at 22.6%.

I decided not to click the Skool app again until I was done this step - and it worked. Lots of thought went into these tasks and I know I won't regret the rabbit holes I went down exploring my long term goals for the channel. While doing this day of the challenge, I watched two of @Alexa Saarenoja's recent videos and it changed my approach to the channel from being informal to being an authority. Sometimes there is a reason we get seemingly stuck - and this is one of those times. I love the way my channel looks now. Not loving the description, but it is definitely more aligned with my vision. It was this lesson 3 months ago that shifted my identity in November 2025 YT was a hobby, an outlet a place to create - Doing Day 7 today, I see my self as a founding member of a ministry (I cannot believe I just wrote that, that has been hidden in my heart for decades) and YT is the calling card.
