Our Social Hour last night recap: Real Humans, Holiday Stories, and Simple Joys
Yesterday’s Wellness Social Hour was such a good reminder of why this community exists. We spent the hour getting to know each other outside of the businesses we run. No marketing talk. No selling. No client questions. Just real humans connecting. We shared favorite holiday traditions, talked about what we loved doing as kids, and even did a little show-and-tell from our desks. There were stories about riding e-bikes, being dog moms to energetic labs, and the simple things that bring joy into everyday life. It felt easy. Light. Human. @Veronica Trevilla And @Kim Benoy you must look into e-bikes now that you have a better understanding of their safety. 🚲 Loved the boxing Grinch @Sandy Bartlett! 🥊 I added a few photos of one of the places we rode our e-bikes in northern Idaho last summer, the teddy bear stockings, and, of course, Sadie, our lab, being cute. One of my joys is the girls curled up in my office chairs while I do my morning routine. If you missed it, don’t worry. These Social Hours happen every month, and each one is a little different. They’re here to give you a break from business mode and create a real connection with people who are on the path you’re on. If you couldn’t attend, we’d still love to know you better. Jump into the comments and answer one or all of these: ☺️What’s one small joy from your week that made you smile? 🚲What’s something you loved doing as a kid that you haven’t done in years? 📎Show & Tell: What’s one object on your desk right now? Looking forward to learning more about you, beyond what you do for work.

Thanks for hosting this Suzy! I really enjoyed it! Your Sadie looks like my old Sadie who was a chocolate lab/Border Collie mix. I am not sure I have a photo on my computer but if I find one I will share.
12/11 Wellness Entrepreneur Social Hour is happening today!
Our very first Wellness Entrepreneur Social Hour is happening today at 3 pm Pacific / 6 pm Eastern, and I can’t wait to see you there. Think of this as your mid-week exhale — a space where we get to show up as humans first and business owners second. No strategy talk. No pressure to be “on.” Just real conversation, connection, and a little play mixed in. Each month will feel a bit different to keep things fresh. Today you can look forward to: • Icebreaker questions that spark honest, meaningful chats. • Mini connection moments in small breakout rooms. • Light, playful activities to help you unwind and meet new people. If you’ve been craving community that goes beyond business talk, this hour is for you. The link to join is inside the community calendar. Grab your tea, settle in, and come hang out with us. And while you’re in there, check out the full calendar for upcoming support calls, social hours, and workshops.

This will be fun!
Month 2 is in the books :)
Last night I held the second session of my 3-session program called Courage & Confidence Circle and it was really good! The group had great conversations, I was able to use a Zoom breakout room and I felt great energy throughout. I knew the second session would be easier just because it was the second time but something else was a factor too. As I was preparing for it over the past weeks, I read something that resonated with me about my role in this process. My role is not to fix anything, I am holding space for those who come to the program and help them see things differently so they can grow in whatever way is good for them. We all grow alongside each other as we move through. I realized that during the first session I subconsciously thought that my job was to give all the answers and now I know that is not true. We already have the answers inside of us and I am bringing them into the light along with everyone who takes my program. If you know a midlife woman who is ready to grow her confidence in a safe supportive space, I will be holding another session in March of 2026. They can join my waitlist and be notified first when I open the enrollment in January. Here's a link to the waitlist: https://forms.gle/eejVREXa2CVT9Zye7

Celebration 🎉Following my energy is working...
Hi everyone, I want to share something that’s been unfolding in real time for me, because the shift has been bigger than I expected, and it all started with choosing to lead with energy first. Over the past month, I stopped forcing myself into a rigid morning routine and started listening to my body. Before doing anything strategic, I grounded my energy, pulled a card, and asked one simple question: What do I need to focus on today? That small daily practice opened the door to everything that came next. Here’s what shifted when I followed what my energy was asking for: 1️⃣I told myself the truth about my messaging. Most people find me through LinkedIn… yet I wasn’t actually showing up there in the energy-first way I teach. So that became step one: show up differently. 2️⃣I learned how to use LinkedIn in a way that honors both energy and strategy. I didn’t need to hustle. I needed clarity and alignment. 3️⃣I implemented from a grounded place. Every post, every message, every decision was guided by my energy first, strategy second. 4️⃣I measured the results over the past 30 days… and here’s what happened: - Over 250 new followers. - My first clarity call was booked by someone who found me organically. - My first post was reshared by someone I’ve never met because the message “hit home.” - This has shown me, once again, that when we align our energy with the action we’re taking, our business responds. The universe is always guiding us. When we actually listen, things start to move. How is energy speaking to you right now? Share in the comments, I’d love to hear how this is showing up in your business.
