How to Create a (PDP) PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PLAN for the summer
This is so important... I wish I had learned this sometime around the ages 12-14 instead of in college as a point guard. I learned how to create a PDP by trial & error over time. I always was a gym rat and worked hard, but I wouldn't say I was working smart. Around age 12-14 I would get up my shots, run a mile, and play basketball almost everyday. By high school (Ages 15-17) I was doing longer workouts, more skill/agility & hooped at the park & with aau teams. But honestly looking back I wasted so much time & energy on things I would tighten up down the road in college. When I really dialed in the summer after my sophomore year of college, I ended up having a breakthrough season my Junior year - All-American & All-Conference selection. This is why one of my first priorities in the "90 Day Point Guard Transformation" will be helping you create a PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PLAN (PDP) as a player or for a player. This alone will change the entire trajectory of a basketball career, I'm living proof. The key to your own PDP, is awareness & honesty of what your strengths, weaknesses & skill set is at. Feedback is crucial from others, not just your own opinion or parents opinion. PDP should focus in on things that will actually make a big impact or improvement (move the needle) to your game in a focused blocks of time. I will help you step by step. Remember to Join this transformation you must upgrade to a monthly membership (standard) or the yearly membership (premium). 🏀 90-Day Point Guard Transformation I want to invite everyone to join this! You must buy or upgrade to a monthly member $49/mo or yearly member $299/year. My first live zoom call for the program will be announced this week, the replays will be uploaded in the "courses" tab if you miss the live call. 🎯 CORE OUTCOME By the end of 90 days, every player: - Knows exactly what a point guard is responsible for - Becomes a floor general not just a pg - Develops more confidence + stronger identity - Handles pressure and controls the game - Leads and earns coach & teammate trust - AND leaves with a clear Player Development Plan (PDP) -
