❤️ Today is Remembrance Day in Canada
In my corner of the world Canada, today is Remembrance Day - a moment to pause and honour those who served, sacrificed, and protected the freedoms we often take for granted. It’s a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembering that peace is never accidental. Skool communities and all our members connect from across the world 🌍 and I’d love to hear from you: 🇨🇦 Do you observe Remembrance Day where you are? 🇺🇸 Do you celebrate Veterans Day? 🌏 Or is there another day of remembrance or reflection in your country? How do you choose to honour, reflect, or give thanks? Do you attend a ceremony, wear a poppy, light a candle, or simply take a quiet moment? Let’s fill this thread with gratitude and remembrance today. ❤️

😬 Why you cringe when you watch yourself back...
That moment of cringe hits hard. I get it, I’ve been there more times than I can count. But here’s the truth: it’s not because you’re bad on camera. It's because your brain is trying to make sense of something unfamiliar. When you speak, your voice travels through bone, it has a vibration only you can hear and sounds like "you" to "you." When you hear it played back through a recording or device, it’s been digitized. It travels through air, and suddenly your voice sounds different and maybe just… off. Then add the mirrored camera image, a bit of weird lighting, and the tiny lag, and your brain starts throwing flags. It labels what it doesn’t recognize as wrong, and that’s when the self-criticism starts. But what you’re seeing isn’t a “bad” version of you. It’s the version the rest of the world already knows, you just haven’t gotten used to yet. The goal isn’t to fall in love with every playback but to build neutrality, that grounded, calm feeling of “this is me,” without the inner spiral. A few things that help: - Pick one thing to observe. Your posture, pace, tone, focus on data, not judgment. - Watch short clips, ten seconds at a time. - Mute it once. Just notice your energy and body language. - Then unmute and listen for connection, not perfection. - Celebrate progress. Every playback means you showed up, and that’s where confidence starts. That cringe you feel isn’t the problem, it's awareness. And it's what many of us are learning to get comfortable with. I actually recorded a video on this too, sharing what’s really happening in the brain when you hear or see yourself on playback, and how to start rewiring that response so you can actually feel proud watching yourself back. Learning how to watch your playback with "objective criticism" vs "subjective judgement." If you’ve ever had that “ugh” or "ick" moment hearing your own voice or watching your own video, what part hits you the hardest?

🎨 What Is the Difference Between Business & Art?
I made a joke the other day with an AI thumbnail someone made of me… And the comments? They surprised me. “Needs more kimono.” “Didn’t recognize you.” “Where’s the flair?” “You look too normal.” 😂 At first, I laughed. But then I felt it: This community knows me. You see me. You feel my vibe. And you reminded me: Don’t lose that ✨ Yesterday when I went to Fashion Week here in Costa Rica. I saw people expressing themselves in the wildest, most beautiful ways. And I realized something: Fashion is business. Business is art. 🎨 They’re both just expressions of self. Of who we are We don’t build Skool communities to fit into frameworks. We build them to express who we really are. That’s what people feel. That’s what they follow. Yes, you can use the VSL scripts. Yes, frameworks are helpful. But if they don’t feel like you, they won’t work. So here’s the reminder ~ For me, and maybe for you too: Make your business feel like you. Not someone else. Not the textbook version. The artistic, real, Limitless version. So… What can you do today to lean deeper into who you are in your business? 👇 Drop one thing in the comments ~ I’d love to hear it. Stay Limitless. ✨

I Stopped Hiding My Offer - Skool Made It Easy to Share
Hi everyone! For the longest time, I was scared to share what I was offering. I thought if people wanted it, they’d just somehow... find it? Or maybe I was just too afraid of looking like I was “selling.” But now that I’m on the other side of that - I get it. How would anyone know if I don’t tell them? We’re all swimming in so much online noise, and if I genuinely believe in what I’ve built (and I do!), I have to give people the chance to see it, ask questions, and say yes. Or no...and that's okay too! You'd think after 20+ years of being an actor in film & tv I'd be used to rejection...it all still hits the same if we let it. 🫢 So, after 9 months of growing and tbh kinda hiding, I finally launched my premium offer inside my free Skool community, and it feels really aligned: - I shared it inside my Classroom - I made a short video for it in the community and my About Page - Also loving this new usage of the Skool calendar - I added a recurring event that shows up in the top bar of the community every day and links to book a call with me so I can share my offer It’s so wild how long I hesitated to do something that now feels so obvious and so good. I guess that's the process of testing and growing! I’m also really leaning into leveraging so many of the features inside Skool to help support getting my offer out there. I'm currently testing out using the Public Mode and sharing community posts to people outside of Skool. I'm curious to know how you guys have setup your communities to help get your offers out there...I'm always for learning new ways to do it. Are you using the public feed? Free resources? Is there something that’s helped you get more eyes on your offer? Would love to learn about your behind the scenes methods! Happy to share more of mine also! Happy Building + Growing! ~ Elfina 💖 Shoutout to @Avatar Daan for his brilliant suggestions! 🔥
