BTW, this now bring us to 6 members in the Portland/Seattle/Spokane area, I smell a Meet-Up coming when we thaw out. Speaking of Meet Ups, I talked about it at a recent Coffee Chat, that I think the first Meet-Up that I will be planning, is for the NE around the NYC area. We have 8 members within an hour or two drive and when we get a little warmer, I will be announcing our first Official Member Meet Up Today is FRIDAY WINS, so I hope you all had a bit of good news come into your lives or businesses this week. We heard some good news already from @Daniel Kredensor over at Happy Bear Coffee, and for @Art Smith Nominated in his local lgbtq publication for recognition in 2 categories. What do you have to celebrate this week. Thanks for being part of the Syndicate!!

Welcome @David Morgenstern
Happy Bear Coffee has received our LGBTBE Status
Good morning all! This post comes a few days ahead of the Friday Wins. I wanted to share that we have officially been certified as an LGBTBE by the NGLCC (National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce). We have been working for months to complete the process. This now opens doors for us to various Diverse Supplier opportunities and to connect with over 2,200 Certified LGBT Businesses. If you want more info about how to get your LGBTBE, shoot me a message. ☕🌈

Introducing myself and the #PSWeLoveYou campaign
Hello to the group and thank you to @Danielle Morris for inviting me to this incredible space! I am a communications and marketing strategist based in Portland, OR in the very early stages of building a consulting business, Amplify Impact Marketing. Prior to setting out on this new venture, I spent 8 years working in communications, development, and marketing in the education sector, most recently as a Senior Marketing Manager at Corwin Press overseeing their line of books focused on advancing equity and justice in schools and supporting BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, and multilingual students. Through Amplify Impact Marketing, I'm interested in working with authors in the education justice space, nonprofits focused on advancing justice and equity, and B-Corps or other mission-driven companies serving communities under threat from this administration. I am also a published novelist and essayist with a volunteer project--Amplify Writers--focused on supporting the career development of writers with identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences that are under-represented in the publishing eco-system. My first campaign with Amplify Impact is an all-volunteer effort to oppose proposed changes to Medicare and Medicaid funding that threatens minors' access to gender-affirming care. Our campaign--#PSWeLoveYou--encourages people to leave a comment in opposition on the federal register and include a PS note directly in support of trans kids. My team will be pulling these comments and publishing them as an ongoing show of community love for 2SLGBTQIA+ kids. We are also publishing educational graphics about what gender-affirming care is alongside blog posts and podcast interviews from impacted community.

Welcome Our Newest Member & Monday Motivation
Hey Syndicate Fam, give a warm welcome to our newest member @William Roberts William, if you have the chance, go to our "Introductions" tab and tell us a bit about yourself. We are happy to have you here! You can also go to the "Map" tab and see if there's any other members near you. I wrote in the newsletter yesterday that I wanted to focus a bit on Sales for the next week or two. As we grow our businesses with products or services, we need sales to grow and thrive. Here is a little exercise to get us all started, no matter what field you're in. Monday Motivation: Start Your Week Where the Sales Already Say “Yes” Most businesses don’t have a sales problem. They have a focus problem. Too many creators, founders, and organizations spend their week chasing new audiences… while ignoring the audience that’s already raising their hand. So today, we begin this week’s Increase Sales Challenge with the single highest-impact move you can make: Identify Your Best Audience Segment Your best customers are already telling you who they are. Your job is simply to listen. Here’s your Monday action: 1. Look at your recent activity. Check your last 30–90 days of: - Purchases - Booked services - Donations - Email clicks - Social DMs - Community engagement 2. Identify patterns..... Ask: - Who buys most often? - Who spends the most? - Who refers others? - Who engages fastest? 3. Define that segment clearly. Example: “Gay men 35–55 who engage with my Instagram Stories and purchase digital products within 48 hours of release.” Or: “Queer-owned small businesses that book consulting packages after attending a live workshop.” "Audiences that found my show on ______" 4. Name this segment. Give them an identity: - “Core Community Clients” - “Power Buyers” - “Founding Fans” Because once you name them... you can build for them. Why this matters When you know exactly who converts: - Your messaging sharpens - Your offers land faster - Your marketing spend drops - Your confidence rises
