Uses for AI?
I think we're coming to the realization that AI can really fill the gaps when it comes to doing business stuff. What ways have you used AI for your business? Here's a list of things I've used it for: - Writing advertising or website copy (duh) - Writing response templates (txt/email/etc) - Asking for help with new technology (I used this to lay out all the steps needed to set up Meta Ads -> Zapier -> Twilio the first time, worked like a charm) - Writing a response to a particularly difficult customer - Ask for help troubleshooting machine issues And now for what I'm most recently excited about..... Since I'm waiting for the snow to melt, I fed a list of 30+ leads (name/address) to Gemini and asked it to tell me which locations would have their snow melted first. It looked up elevations and storm patterns from the last big snow storm and made some great guesses about which locations would be ready first. I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface of what AI can do for my business, would love to hear others ideas!

@William Swingle Howdy Neighbor, That's a pretty slick Idea. I'll have to give the snow melt idea a try!
START HERE: Stay Booked Out For Weeks With Profitable Jobs
Welcome to OWNR OPS 🤝 If you own a land clearing or forestry business and you want to stay booked out weeks in advance with profitable jobs using simple systems, not shiny objects, you’re in the right place. This group and trainings are built around my simple operating system - Revamp your pricing so you generate profit on every job - Make the phone ring consistently with a simple 3‑Step Lead Engine - Track a simple weekly scorecard so you know if you’re winning or losing and exactly what to fix next I use this same playbook in my own $1.4M land clearing / forestry business and it’s what guys like Colby used to go from roughly $400k to $850k while staying 4–8 weeks booked out. Step 1 – Introduce yourself (do this now) Comment below with: - Your name - Where you’re based - What kind of work you do now (land clearing, forestry, fire mitigation, etc.) - How many weeks you’re currently booked out - Use the photo template I posted Step 2 – Unlock the Free Kickstarter Training Go to the Classroom tab and follow the steps to unlock the “Free Kickstarter Training" Video series module In it, you’ll learn how you can copy the simple operating system behind my 7 figure business: - Revamp your pricing so every crew‑day makes profit - Build a 3‑Step Lead Engine (how to make the phone ring) - Use a weekly scorecard to see if you’re winning or losing and what to fix next week Watch these lessons this week so the livestreams & posts inside here actually click. Step 3 – Book Your OPS Onboarding Call If you want my eyes on your numbers and a clear plan to stay booked out weeks in advance with profitable jobs, book an OPS Onboarding call here: 👉 [Book Onboarding Call] On that call we’ll: - Look at your current revenue, backlog, and weeks booked out - Find the biggest bottleneck in your business - See if you’re a fit for OPS Training, my weekly training program for land clearing and forestry owners

Hey everyone, my name is Ryan. I’m an owner-operator with a union lineman background who transitioned into running equipment and owning a small business full-time. I own and operate Clearview Brush Control LLC, a forestry mulching and land management company. Our services include forestry mulching, land and lot clearing, overgrowth reclamation, trail cutting, pasture edge pushback, and access improvements. We’re based in New England and primarily serve Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. I’m here to learn more about scaling from an owner-operator to a small crew, building hiring and training systems, dialing in pricing for growth, and tightening operations as volume increases. I’m also happy to share honest reviews and real-world feedback on companies, software, equipment, and systems we’ve used so far, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what I’d do differently if starting over. 👍Looking forward to learning from everyone and contributing where I can.
