You don’t get praised for resting.
You get praised for pushing through. For being the one who “handles it.” For showing up no matter how tired you are. For doing it all… even when you’re running on empty. And no one means harm by it. Your family, your friends, your boss…they’re recognizing your strength. But somewhere along the way…that recognition turns into identity. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝.𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦. But here’s the truth most women need to hear: You don’t have to keep proving your strength by pushing past your limits. This week… I’m not asking you to stop growing. I’m not asking you to stop building. I’m not asking you to stop taking one “close the loop” action at a time. But I do want you to notice this: 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩…𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩. That second one isn’t discipline. It’s a pattern that’s been wired into you. And once you see it…you get to start doing it differently. Give yourself grace this week. Not because you’re falling behind…but because you’re learning how to show up without running yourself into the ground. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞? 💜

@Lidia Axe adorable!
If it suddenly feels harder… you’re probably closer than you think.
Not off track. Not failing. Not losing momentum. 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫. Here’s why: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥. And survival = safe = familiar. So when you start doing things differently…showing up more, being consistent, actually creating change…Your nervous system pushes back. 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠. 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞…𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭. That’s the exact moment most people stop. But that moment? 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡. So when you feel this… Don’t spiral. Acknowledge it. Give yourself credit for the awareness. Ask for support if you need it. And remember: 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 💜
