Temple Care Challenge Check In
Hey Everyone, This is Mary Ward, National Director of First Place. Making myself accountable to you all. Because I had company for the last two days I got off on my meals, but I did manage to make Day 2's breakfast this morning. And I chose the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad from Panera for dinner the previous night. I didn't use any dressing and honestly it didn't need it with all the fruit, nuts and lettuce in the salad. How are you all doing? Remember it's not about perfection. Today I will follow the remainder of the meals for Day 3. What swaps have you made so far?

@Donna Moore prayers for you during these challenging days. May His give you the patience, rest and nourishment that you need to keep serving your parents. My father had Alzheimer’s…this a difficult road, but enjoy every moment.
Free time? Is there truly such a thing?
Suppose you had a totally free day, no obligations, and you had to stay home, how would you spend your day? Do I do something for myself or someone else? It's okay to do something for ourselves, we aren't used to thinking like that, are we?. I would probably spend part of my day in my sewing room and part of my day reading. What would you do with your free day?

@Sherrie Carroll I have done all kinds of projects! Most things I give away, but in recent years have had a few commissioned projects. Now I am self learning how to use the long-arm quilting machine! So much fun!

Where are you?
Tell us what part of the country from? Is it spring yet? Here in Michigan it’s crazy….one day 30 degrees the next 80.

Hello from Birmingham, AL!!
How do you.....
I have come to the conclusion as I try to sort out a morning routine, that it is ok if every morning isn't the same, the demands of each day are different, even though the priorities are the same. A morning routine may not be a one size fits all for each day. What do your mornings look like? Are they the same each day....or are you like me...A morning tweaker?

My morning routine is coffee with my Bible study/Bible readings/prayer…if I don’t do it then, it usually doesn’t get done. That sets my mind in the right framework to tackle the rest of my day.
