During the 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟴𝟳𝟬, ordinary mail couldn't leave the city by road. So thousands of letters were carried out by 𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙣, floating over enemy lines to reach waiting friends and families. 🎈📮 It's one of the most remarkable chapters in postal history—and proof that people have always found a way to stay connected through handwritten letters. 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: If you could choose an old-fashioned way to send your next letter, which would you pick? 💭 Vote and then tell us why in the comments

Welcome to 𝙋𝙚𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙛𝙚, lovely. Before we start swapping handwritten letters, mailbox excitement, and tiny stationery-based serotonin, this is your gentle invitation to pull up a chair and say hello. No need for a polished life story. No need to sound clever, poetic, or like you’ve been writing letters by candlelight since 1987. Just share a little hello in the comments so we can get to know the women behind the envelopes. You might like to tell us: 💌 your name 📍 where you’re from ☕️ your favourite cuppa or cosy writing ritual ✍️ what intrigued you about joining Pen Pal Café 📬 when you last received a handwritten letter, if you can remember 💡𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗳é 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: This space is intentionally 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 to most communities. The connection itself happens through our handwritten letter exchanges — where women are thoughtfully matched and send real letters through the post — but this Skool space is where we gather the anticipation, the joy, the writing energy, and the little rituals around it. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸: letter hype, writing inspiration, mailbox excitement, sharing what you’re sending or receiving, endorphin moments when something lands in your letterbox, and our little Friday mail trivia. It’s a space for staying connected to the experience of writing, not just talking about it. To take part in an exchange (currently), you can choose: ✨ $3/month membership (all exchanges) 💌 $5 mini exchange (pay-as-you-go) one-off 💌 $7 full exchange (pay-as-you-go) one-off Everything runs through your 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙡 (off of Skool), once you sign-up to your first round, where you’ll complete your details, view your match, and track your letters all in one place. And then when you're ready, head over to the Classroom and get acquainted with: • What the Exchange Is • How it Works

hey, i'm brooklyn from north carolina (but hopefully soon tennessee!) i'm a mom of 2 and a writer/author in nature. as much as a i love a good cup of coffee sometimes, i absolutely adore vanilla chai black tea w/ a splash of coffee creamer. i was super excited to join pen pal café because i actually had a pen pal growing up through samaritans purse (she had gotten a shoebox i put together for her where i had included a note and my contact information). we kept in contact from roughly 9-15 years old, i never really knew what happened. i just stopped receiving letters one day. i also used to exchange letters with one of my younger sisters, Paris. we were adopted at 8/10 years old by different families. we've since been able to reconnect in person as adults now, as her adoptive family cut off contact when we were 14 so i also stopped receiving letters one day. getting letters in the mail and being able to send them off has always been such an enjoyable part of my life, so i am very excited to be able to be doing it once again! 🩵
Feeling all the feels!
Omgoodness, I didn't receive a letter, I received a little package of loveliness!!! Thank you so much @Rina Oh . It's been a busy week and I nearly forgot to collect my mail from the post office! I am so glad i didn't. What a beautiful way to end my working week and start my weekend. 😍
