What shoes are you wearing on race day?
Hey team - hope you are enjoying the long weekend! Here is the Week 6 homework: Have you decided on your race shoes? Need any suggestions or undecided what to choose?

Asics GT-2000 here. They are WELL used and the left one now has a hole in the top 🫤Might need to buy a new pair asap and get some wear into them before race day. Asics snob here but would love some different options that are of similar fit to Asics. maybe a little less ouch on the pocket would be great too 😅
10K Week 3 Homework
Hey Team, 3 weeks in - how is the training going! This week is all about celebrating the wins so far, big or small. These wins really do add up. Let me know, what have been your wins so far?

Win so far was getting Parihaka done on Monday @ 515am in the pouring rain. Excited to keep the cross training going each week. Can't wait to hit the track tomorrow (Wednesday) for the progressive runs. I wasn't brave enough this morning, so am a day behind.

Hey team, A group of us are using Parihaka as our x training each week. Due to kids and workload, we get this done in the morning. We meet between 5:15am and 5:30am on the scheduled x training day. We walk up and walk down, so is friendly for all fitness levels. Bring a head torch as it is always dark for the hike up. Happy for you to send me a message if you would like to join us and i can confirm the time with you each week 😀

Improve your 10k personal best It is aligned with the Beach 2 Basin (although its ok if you arent doing this). Program Includes Running, Strength and mobility workouts.
