You need half a black bear liver, one red onion, bear oil, and lemon and herb seasoning is great Cast iron pan, put it on the stove and heat it at medium high Add enough oil to coat the bottom Put in chopped up liver Stir it up and cover Slice 1 red onion real thin Once all liver is browned on all sides, add the onion and stir, re cover After five minutes when the onion is starting to look soft, season with your preferred seasoning and re cover. Check temp vigilantly and thoroughly. DO NOT UNDERCOOK YOUR BEAR MEAT. When your done it should look like a mess. Serves 1 hungry me

Attended our clubs fundraiser wildgame banquet last night. Good food, good people, good community. Something that really lack this day and age is a good community get together. The world is so divided nowadays, it's so great to kick back and relax surrounded by like minded people who just want to live and love. And supporting these kinds of groups is the best way to keep that community and unity alive. We have no seating arrangement, always sitting at a table with strangers, and making new friends. Lots of donations and good support. My arrows ended up getting quite the attention even though there were only 3, and our local gunsmith restored a mid 1800s winchester 3030 that auctioned high, and the food was incredible. Some amazing award went to some great people and most of all we doubled our fundraising goal! These things are places and people are important. Do what you can to be involved. Even 50 50 tickets are a big help.

Was patching up some arrows today and I could swear I was missing a flu flu. Went out to a spot ive been letting rest for a couple weeks, hit my trail and found it 😆 trees must've grabbed it outta my back quiver last time I was there. Anyway, I was trying broadheads this time. Threw on some zwickeys, got two perfect shots today but both times my arrow deflected. So broadheads definitely dont punch through brush like a hex heads. Those hare are lookin large. Gonna have to get serious here one day 😆
