@Naomi Adek at the weekend it’s 10-11 hours. I usually aim for 8 hours but in the last few months I have been busy with work. Today I did get 8 hours because of the mid-term break. I also take power naps most days to catch up on my 8th hour. Does that count?
🌸 The DON’Ts of Meal Prepping for the Christian Woman 🦋🍎🤍
Meal prep is meant to serve you — not rule you. It’s a tool, not your master. And as a daughter of God, your kitchen should be a place of peace, not pressure. 🦋🍎💛 Here are some loving but firm reminders: 🦋 1. Don’t Plan Without Inviting God In 🍎 If you plan your week down to the gram but never pause to pray, you’re missing the foundation. “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 🤍 Meal prep is not just logistics — it’s stewardship. Ask Him: - What does my body truly need this week? - What season am I in? - Where do I need simplicity? Let Him guide your structure. 🦋 🍎 2. Don’t Let Meal Prep Become a Source of Stress 🤍 If prepping leaves you overwhelmed, snappy, or anxious… something is off. “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 🦋 You do not need 15 containers, 5 proteins, and Pinterest-level perfection. Simplicity honors your nervous system. Peace is productive. 🍎💛 🤍 3. Don’t Compare Your Plate to Another Woman’s 🦋🍎 Comparison in the kitchen is still comparison. “Each one should test their own actions… without comparing themselves to someone else.” — Galatians 6:4 🦋 Her macros are not your macros. Her metabolism is not your metabolism. Her season is not your season. Stay in your lane with grace. 🍎 🍎 4. Don’t Be Unrealistic About Your Season If you’re a busy mom, caregiver, business owner, or walking through a hard season — prep accordingly. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 🤍 That’s not failure. That’s wisdom. 🦋 5. Don’t Make Food Your Savior 🍎 Meal prep cannot fix emotional wounds, spiritual dryness, or exhaustion. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4 🤍 Prep food. But feast on the Word. 🦋🍎💛 🤍 6. Don’t Prep From Guilt 🍎 If your motivation is shame from last week’s choices — pause. “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1 🦋

Wow! This is powerful. The Lord is interested even in the “little” things in our lives. Having a scripture for every mental block can be so powerful. Thanks for sharing. If I may… You should make a Pinterest pin or a Canva design with these tips/verses, it would help so many of us.

@Naomi Adek I am sensitive to gluten and I don't like gluten-free options unfortunately.

It’s Valentine’s Day 🤍🦋🍎
And today carries so many different emotions for so many women. Maybe you’re celebrating big — laughter, flowers, dinner plans, joy in the air 💕 Maybe you’re quietly wondering why love hasn’t shown up the way you hoped. Maybe you’re asking hard questions. Of yourself. Of God. Maybe you wish this day didn’t exist at all. Or maybe you’re the kind of woman who believes love should be lived out every single day, not just once a year. Wherever you find yourself — pause right here with me. 🦋 Before culture defines this day for you… before comparison tries to whisper… before loneliness tries to settle in… Remember this truth: You are God’s beloved. 🍎💕 He has loved you with an everlasting love. Not a temporary love. Not a conditional love. Not a love that forgot you. An everlasting one. If today feels full of questions, let Him be your answer. If today feels empty, let Him fill the space. If today is joyful and full of celebration, let Him be the glory at your table. Let Him love on you — deeply, tenderly, personally. 🦋❤️ You are not overlooked. You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are the apple of His eye. 🍎💕 And that kind of love? It doesn’t expire on February 14th. What are your plans today? 🦋🦋💕
It’s Valentine’s Day 🤍🦋🍎
