Big Shift Incoming 🤸‍♀️🐬
I've decided to narrow my focus online heavily to helping skool owners with their member experience specifically and how to get/ keep members engaged 🐼🎉 We all know there are plenty of things that go into building especially when you have so many options on how to do it like Skool offers. That being said, I kinda like the name Chemistry Clubhouse for a Skool community that can house my services without putting too much pressure on people to buy, buy, buy 😅🤷‍♀️ I only want to work with people ready to get to work 🤸‍♀️😎🐬🚀 And I will be patiently waiting for anyone that needs time to get going 💝🦄✨ So be honest, what do we think about the childish nature my logo holds? Does the name make sense? What do you think you would find in this community?? 🤔

I love the colors and the name ! To me it says: a fun, cozy place to experiment with what actually gets people engaged, with other community builders.
Gave my quiz a little glow up 💫
Spent some time yesterday on my mental load quiz. Clearer message, better questions, less “what is this exactly?” Honestly I’d been staring at it so long I couldn’t see it anymore 😅 So quick question for you: If you landed on this page cold, would you actually want to take it? zendesigncie.com/quiz A simple yes / no / meh is perfect. And if something made you hesitate, I’d love to know what 🙏
☕🐼 Builder's Morning | What If There's More to the Story?
Good morning, builders! ❤️ Ever post something in your community that you were SURE would get people talking? And then... crickets. 🦗😂 Before long, your brain has a whole explanation ready. They're not interested. Maybe I'm asking the wrong questions. Maybe nobody really wants what I'm building. But here's something interesting about our brains. They're constantly trying to make sense of what's happening, even when they don't have all the information. And sometimes we're so quick to believe the story we've created that we forget to question it. Maybe members didn't see the post. Maybe they were busy. Maybe they weren't sure how to respond. Or maybe our original explanation was right! But how would we know? That's a question I love. Because there's a big difference between having an explanation and actually understanding what's happening. And it's one of the reasons Todd and I created Builder's Morning. We wanted a little space where we could think together, question our assumptions, consider different perspectives, and sometimes challenge ourselves to look again. Not just become better at running Skool, but become better builders along the way. Over the coming weeks, we'll also be sharing more of the thinking behind the experiences we've created here in Skoolology. Why we designed them, what we're noticing, and what we're learning. Now, you can replicate what we do, or you can take the thinking behind it and reinvent something that makes sense for YOUR members. That's where community design gets interesting. ❤️ ☕ Now, here's your Monday morning challenge... Think of something happening in your community that you've already come up with an explanation for. What else could be true? And perhaps the more interesting question... What could you do to find out? I'd love to hear what you're thinking. 🐼❤️

@Donna Thornton This one got me thinking Donna 💭 My community , The Room to Breathe, is quiet on purpose. It’s for women carrying a lot of mental load, so I don’t want it to feel like one more place where they have to show up and perform. So when a post gets crickets, my first story is actually the opposite of “they’re not interested”. It’s more like “good, maybe they’re resting” 😅 But your question made me look again. What if I’m just using that story to feel better? The deeper question for me is: is peace something people actually feel they need? Nobody wakes up thinking “I need a calm community”. They think “I’m so tired” or “I can’t keep up”. Peace is more something you recognize once you’re in it. So how do I tell the difference between a quiet that means “this feels good” and a quiet that means “this isn’t needed”? I think the only way to know is to ask. Something like “what do you get from being here, even on the days you don’t post?” Going to try that this... Curious if anyone else built something quiet on purpose ?
Our new About page is live, and Skool loves it.
Donna rewrote the Skoolology About page, and it is ranking better than anything we've put there before. She built it with a new framework she has been developing for about pages. I had nothing to do with it, which may explain a lot. So the framework now has a working name: Todd You So. (Say it out loud. It sounds like "told you so," which is what Donna gets to say to me now.) Two things to keep in mind: 1. Rankings are an early signal. The real verdict comes when we see long-term conversion percentages. 2. Not every framework, or even every template, works for every community. What fits ours may not fit yours. We'd like your take. Read the About page, then let us know in the comments: why do you think Skool loves this text more than anything we've done before? Todd --- STOP BUILDING YOUR SKOOL IN PIECES. Growth here. Engagement there. Offers, tech, traffic...another expert, another strategy, another community. Skoolology is one room for the whole build. Your community is a system—not a collection of tactics. Bring the decision. The stuck spot. The half-built idea. What you're testing next. We don't look at your build through just one lens. Donna brings 30+ years across learning, leadership, community design, behavior, research & implementation. Todd brings 30+ years of tech, systems & tools. Builders here bring experience neither of us could provide alone. This isn't another course library. We build here. Bring real work. Get thoughtful eyes on it. Try something. Come back with what happened. Your next question will change. You shouldn't need another community every time it does. Stop collecting answers. Start building. Bring your build. A Little Skoolology News! 🐼❤️
Well, Todd and I finally did it! 😂 Skoolology officially has one $47/month membership for new members! We've been talking about this change for quite a while, and it feels good to finally take the leap. From the beginning, we've wanted Skoolology to be a place where you can bring your whole build. The questions, the experiments, the things that are working, and the things you're still trying to figure out. A place where we learn from one another, roll up our sleeves, and actually work on the things that matter to our communities. And we want to keep that simple. One membership. One room for the whole build. ❤️🐼 Now, before anyone starts wondering... 😂 You're already a member. Your current pricing is protected. You're grandfathered in, and there's nothing you need to do. For those of you receiving additional VIP or one-on-one support, that continues, too! We're simply moving toward a clearer distinction between our community membership and the more personalized support available separately. And if you're wondering whether Skoolology itself is changing, we're still doing what we've been doing all along. Learning, experimenting, helping one another, and figuring things out together. We're just making it a little easier for new people to understand what they're joining. Thank you for being part of this with us. We're pretty excited about where we're headed together! Great things are in store to help you build better!❤️ Donna & Todd
