Do you tag them in a welcome post? Send a personal message? Point them toward one simple first step? Or give them space to look around? I’m thinking about how we welcome people inside The Smell of Money. I want them to feel noticed and know where to begin without handing them a whole new to-do list. Community owners, what’s your approach and what have you noticed? Does a public welcome get people talking, or put quieter members on the spot? Do personal messages start conversations, or go unanswered? And if you skip the welcome altogether, I’d love to hear why! What’s working for you, and what have you stopped doing? 👇

I’ve been attending a virtual summit where immigration lawyers and travel experts are discussing visas, residency, relocation, and what life abroad could realistically look like. The sessions have really made me rethink where I want to go and focus more on where would be the best fit for me and my small family. I’m now researching two countries I honestly would not have considered before this summit and both have become very interesting possibilities. Hopefully, by the end of the summit, I’ll have a clearer country of choice and a plan to simply GO and begin a new chapter. Most importantly, I want a place where my daughter can focus on healing, better health, and experiencing a different quality of life. 💜 🤔 Have you ever thought of moving or taking a long sabbatical abroad? If so, where would you go? What countries excite you and call out to you?

I know Halloween is right around the corner but we gotta keep the ghosting out! @Chris Suckling shared something in his post that made me realize this is EXACTLY what's happening here and all over Skool. When you jump into conversations that are already happening, get curious, ask questions, and actually get people talking, something starts to shift.... People begin to recognize you. They remember your name and your profile. They start jumping into YOUR conversations when they see you post. Suddenly, you don't have to work so hard to get people interested in what you do. But when every interaction starts with you dropping a pitch... 😬 chances are, you're getting the online version of that polite nod. 🤷‍♀️ There's a really good lesson in Chris's post that goes way beyond sales conversations. So here's a little food for thought... Are you pitch-posting and ghosting? Or are you actually getting into the conversations? 👉 Go read Chris's post and tell me if you see the connection, too.
