This weekend, we attended a backyard party. It was a familiar group of people there, many of whom I don't care for, but a few of us formed a nice little group, with our own live music entertainment, and overall had a very pleasant afternoon. By the time we got home, however, I felt sick and had a very upset stomach. After about an hour being at home and sitting on our back patio, I felt perfectly fine again. I don't know what I picked up on, but this happens to me repeatedly at gatherings. It's very rare that I don't come home feeling sick, in spite of eating/not eating, enjoying/not enjoying and all other considerations. I am finally going to put this down to energies I am picking up. I don't consider myself an empath, although for sure I am very empathetic. It's also not that I am necessarily uncomfortable in the setting. It must be toxic debris from others. Scientific Atacamite: Atacamite is a copper halide mineral: a copper(II) chloride hydroxide with formula Cu2Cl(OH)3, and is polymorphous with botallackite, clinoatacamite, and paratacamite. Atacamite is a comparatively rare mineral, formed from primary copper minerals in the oxidation or weathering zone of arid climates. It has also been reported as a volcanic sublimate from fumarole deposits, as sulfide alteration products in black smokers. Its Crystal habit if of slender prismatic crystals, fibrous, granular to compact and massive. Its color range is from bright green, dark emerald-green to blackish green. It was first described for deposits in the Atacama Desert of Chile in 1801 by D. de Fallizen. The Atacama Desert is also the namesake of the mineral. Synthetic Occurrence: Atacamite has been discovered in the patina of the Statue of Liberty, and as alteration of ancient bronze and copper artifacts. The mineral has been found as a pigment in sculpture, manuscripts, maps, and frescoes discovered in Eurasia, Russia, and Persia. Atacamite Sources: The mineral has also been found naturally on oxidized copper deposits in Chile, China, Russia, Czech Republic, Mexico, United Kingdom, at Mt. Gunson, South Australia, Mt. Vesuvius, Italy, Lily Mine, Peru and Pinal County, Arizona, USA. Metaphysical Uses of Atacamite: Aids powerful spiritual visions.
