Honestly, the Nimiq Blockchain Mini Apps Competition is my first hackathon, and it turned out to be the perfect training ground. I learned so much about what it actually takes to win, from brainstorming the initial idea and rallying a community, to picking the right tech and nailing the final demo. I don’t regret a single second of it. check the recordings and see for yourself, it's packed! Huge shoutout to the team for putting together such an awesome experience! 👏🏽👏🏽

I think this is the right time to properly build NimAgent. NimAgent is coming 🎉🚀 Explore: https://nimagent.online

Honestly, this one means a lot to me. There were so many moments while building this where I wasn't sure if I was wasting my time or if the idea would actually go anywhere. A lot of late nights, second-guessing, fixing things that broke, starting over, and just trying to make the product a little better each day. So seeing PROOF actually win feels pretty special. I'm proud of what I built, but even more grateful that other people and the Nimiq Community saw the value in it too. Just wanted to share the win with you guys ❤️ Back to building. Thank you to everyone that tested the app, gave feedbacks. Most especially, Thank you Nimiq for Hosting this wonderful competition for hackers, developers and builders to come onboard.

It’s official! Cycle 3 is here and we’re doing things differently this time. We listened to your feedback from Cycle 2 and made some changes. Instead of building anything, this cycle has a theme: PAY. SAVE. EARN. The focus is on Mini Apps that bring real functionality to Nimiq Pay, things people will actually open and use. Four prize categories, five winners: 💸 PAY: Make everyday payments easier 🪙 SAVE: Expand what users can hold and manage 📈 EARN: Put assets to work through staking and yield opportunities 🔄 ON/OFF-RAMP: Make moving money in and out of Nimiq Pay easier Here’s how the $17,000 USDC prize pool is distributed: 🥇 $4,000: Best PAY Mini App 🥇 $4,000: Best SAVE Mini App 🥇 $4,000: Best EARN Mini App 🥇 $4,000: Best ON/OFF-RAMP Mini App ⭐ $1,000: Community Council Bonus Prize We’ve also updated the scoring to put more weight on functionality, usefulness, and real usage. The goal is simple: build something people will actually use. We put together a full breakdown of the theme, scoring, prizes, and ideas to get you started: 🔍 https://www.nimiq.com/blog/mini-apps-competition-cycle-3-announcement Ready to build?
