I am tired! The last couple of nights, Riley has been waking at weird hours. I almost don’t get a workout in today, but still made it work. I go back to work after next week, and I am getting anxious thinking about how I’m going to make my mornings work with exercise and getting myself ready and both kids ready for the day. That week, I may need to take a break and focus on the morning routine. We shall see! shoulders, bis and tris today. I went with light weight first, then upped the weight a little. Felt good to go up in weight, but I also know I need to build the foundation of my strength before I can really push myself. In time!

F Leg Day!
I forgot how intense Lower Body can be for Shaun T’s programs… I say to myself, why am I even doing this… and the say F You Shaun T while it’s happening… and then, once it’s over, I feel better and happy that I did it. All I know is, tomorrow my quads are going to be sore! It’s a snowy day here in PA. David got to play outside for a little this morning after breakfast and helped daddy clear snow off the cars. Riley got to go outside for a few mins and just stay cozy and sleep.

Forgot to share!
Well, yesterday got away from me and I forgot to post my workout from yesterday morning. Riley slept for 5 hours Friday but Saturday, so when she woke up around 2ish, I got her changed and fed and she was back to sleep by 3. I laid down until 4, and then was able to get up and do my mornin routine. Lifting weights feels so good again! I don’t feel like im exerting myself and I know the structure of the weight listing is already working. I’m excited to see my progress over the next few weeks to months. Hoping that once I get into this rhythm, I’ll see the scale drop and fit into my pants again soon!

Hello Fri-yay!
Happy Friday! Got my workout in this morning! However,’it was cut short a few mins due to Riley waking up. Which is totally OKAY! I kind of knew she would be waking up, so I chose a workout that was a little shorter with the hopes of being able to finish all of it. After some thought, I’ve decided to stop Chop Wood Carry Water for now. My body just isn’t ready for all the primal movements yet. How much I’d like to be there, I know I need to build up some more strength for it, and I just don’t feel comfortable yet with them. I’ve opted to go back to Dig Deeper for now and modify as I know I won’t be able to do the same weights that I did before. I’m starting with Dig Deeper 30, that way I can build up a little before going straight to 45-60 min workouts.
