Well, Look Who's Back! ❤️
@Alice Rienzo Alexander Well, this just made my day! ❤️ Welcome back to Skoolology, my friend! It's so good to see you here again. 😊 For those of you who haven't met Alice, she's a math professor, manifestation coach, and the woman behind Law of Attraction Book Club. And of course, I had to go see what she's been up to. 😂 I found something on her About page that I absolutely love... “Read less. Apply more. Manifest for real.” Alice, you know that speaks my language! She's helping women take what they're learning from books and put it into practice in their everyday lives. Not just more reading, more information, or more things to add to the to-do list. Little steps that actually mean something. I love that she's making room for people to start wherever they are, without feeling like they're already behind. Alice, we've got some catching up to do! 😂 I'd love to hear how things are going with you and the Book Club. I'm just really happy to see you back here. ❤️ And everyone, if you haven't met Alice yet, come say hello!
Well, Look Who's Back! ❤️
@Elsebeth Fogh Say what?!?! Wowza!!!
@Kathy Adams No worries. I love to read. And it really depends on my mood. Sometimes I want something super easy that I can just get lost in. Other times, I'll go for the heavier reads that are more detailed. And I totally agree with your Christmas list 😉
📌Welcome to Skoolology!
We're so glad you're here. 👋 If you're building a community and wondering... - Why aren't my members engaging? - What should I improve first? - How do I build a community people don't want to leave? You're in the right place. Skoolology is a learning community for community builders who want to stop guessing and start improving. Together, we study what works, test ideas in real communities, and learn from each other's experiments. Before we talk about your community... Let's get to know you. 👋 Your first step takes about 10 seconds. 👇Drop ONE WORD in the comments below. It might be: • A value you live by. • A word that describes the community you're building. • Or simply a word that's meaningful to you today. We'll create something special from your word and welcome you personally. ❤️ We read every single one. Your next step When you've posted your word, head over to the next pinned post and take the 5-minute Community Snapshot. It will help you discover exactly what to improve next. Welcome! Donna & Todd Learn. Build. Lead.
📌Welcome to Skoolology!
@Todd Thornton I adore this! 🥰
@Donna Thornton I love it too!
THIS. This is what we've been building toward! ❤️🐼
I have to tell you what's been happening in the Build Room today! Questions are being asked. Ideas are being shared. DMs are flying. A couple of spontaneous calls have even popped up! 😂 And my favorite part? Builders helping builders. I've answered plenty of questions today, but some of the best things happening haven't involved Todd or me at all. One builder shares something they're working through. Another jumps in with an idea, an experience, or an offer to help. A conversation becomes a connection. That connection opens another door. And before you know it, the support starts multiplying. ❤️ I can't tell you how happy that makes me! Todd and I never wanted Skoolology to be a place where everyone waits for us to have the answers. We wanted a place where builders could bring their questions, their experiences, their ideas, and even their messy, unfinished work. A place where people genuinely get to know each other and want to help each other succeed. And today gave me another little glimpse of the community we're growing together. Whether you were part of today's conversations or not, there's room for you here. ❤️ Builders building builders. 🐼❤️ And you know what? I think all that bamboo we've been watering is starting to peek through the soil. 🎋🥰 To everyone who's been asking, sharing, encouraging, connecting, and reaching out to help someone else today, THANK YOU! 🐼❣️ You're not just participating in this community. You're helping build it. And that means more to Todd and me than you know. ❤️
THIS. This is what we've been building toward! ❤️🐼
I love the analogy with bamboo because once it establishes its root system, it can quickly take over.
@Donna Thornton I'm feeling better 🥰
☕🐼 Builder's Morning | What If You Already Have What You Need?
Good morning, builders! Have you ever caught yourself thinking, "Maybe THIS is what I've been missing!" Another free guide. Another blueprint. Another course. Another community. Another strategy that promises to finally make things click. And just like that, we're excited again! There's some fascinating brain science behind this. Our brains are drawn to novelty and the anticipation of reward. The possibility of discovering something valuable can feel motivating, especially when we're frustrated with our progress. Here's where it gets interesting. Finding another answer can FEEL like making progress, even when we haven't done anything differently. We collect information. Save resources. Join conversations. Fill our notebooks with ideas. Meanwhile, that course we purchased is still waiting. The advice someone gave us hasn't been tried. The people who could help us are already sitting in our communities. And we're off looking for the next thing! I've certainly been guilty of this myself. But I've been thinking about what happens when we stop collecting answers long enough to actually USE one. To try it. Give it some time. Pay attention to what happens. Make adjustments. Learn something we couldn't have learned just by reading about it. Because sometimes the missing piece isn't more information. It's what we haven't done with the information we already have. Now, I'm not suggesting we stop learning or exploring. Sometimes a fresh perspective really does change everything. But I wonder how much further we might get if we became as curious about applying what we've learned as we are about discovering something new. Here's something to think about this morning... Before you go looking for your next answer, what's one thing you already have that you haven't fully put to work yet?
☕🐼 Builder's Morning | What If You Already Have What You Need?
Shiny Object Syndrome Survivor here! 🙋‍♀️ I've learned most of what I've collected is what I already have just packaged differently. Time to release some of the clutter.

🎉 Welcome to Celebrations
Every thriving community has moments worth celebrating. Sometimes it's a big win. Sometimes it's a breakthrough. Sometimes it's a meaningful conversation, a new friendship, an unexpected insight, or simply the courage to keep showing up. This space is for all of it. If you're working through the SkoolME Lens in the classroom, you'll discover this thread along the way. That's intentional. Reflection isn't separate from growth. It's one of the ways growth happens. Over the coming weeks, you'll find member spotlights, Golden Ticket reflections, stories of connection, lessons we're learning together, and the everyday moments that remind us why we're building communities in the first place. My hope is that this doesn't become my celebration thread. I hope it becomes ours. 💙If something encouraged you... 💙If you tried something that worked... 💙If another member made a difference... 💙If you learned something you think the rest of us could benefit from... 💙If you're simply grateful for a connection you made here... We'd love to celebrate with you.🙌 Because every great community is built one conversation, one connection, and one celebration at a time. I'll start us off with a few celebrations from this week. What are you celebrating today? ❤️ Donna
🎉 Welcome to Celebrations
I noticed my newer members are more active than my longtime members. But the conversations are with me—members aren’t commenting on one another’s posts. That stood out when I stopped to look. People are responding, but connections between members aren’t developing yet. I’m curious about what brings newer members into the conversation and what’s changed for the longtime members. This may be a reflection on me, though, because I'm not a talker. I get right to the point (unless I'm stumbling on my words) and my standard ending response is: OK Goodbye and I walk away. End of conversation. I don't think anyone has taken offense to it. They just laugh and say ok bye! I'm awkward like that.
