Did you know that books have seasonality? 📚
One thing I’ve noticed after publishing multiple books 📚 over the years is that sales often start to climb in the fall and winter months… and then soften a bit during spring and summer. And honestly, it makes sense. When the weather gets colder, people spend more time indoors, scroll online more, listen to more audiobooks during commutes, and look for ways to learn, escape, or improve themselves. Meanwhile, spring and summer tend to shift attention toward vacations, outdoor activities, family events, and just being out living life. Even major retailers plan around this behavior. The publishing industry sees strong momentum during: ➡️ Back-to-school season ➡️ Q4 holiday shopping ➡️ New Year “new me” self-improvement season That’s why it’s important not to panic if your sales dip a little during warmer months. A slower season doesn’t automatically mean your book is failing. This is actually a GREAT time to: - Build your catalog - Improve your listings - Gather reviews - Optimize your keywords - Prepare for stronger Q4 traffic later in the year Think of it like planting seeds before the busy shopping season arrives. 🌱 Now I’m curious… Have you personally noticed certain times of year where you buy or read more books? Or do your habits stay the same year-round?

I do tend to read more in the winter/colder months
This Could Go Completely Off the Rails 😂
Let’s build a story together 👀 I’ll start with one sentence…and each person adds the NEXT sentence in the comments. Build on to the story by creating the next sentence. If you see someone typing, wait for their sentence and then type yours out, building on theirs Let’s see where this goes 😂 Here's the first sentence: 👉 The moment she touched the glowing book, she was transported to a magical place. Your turn 👇 (Only ONE sentence per comment—no overthinking it, just keep it going)

Author Q&A Session: Printing Costs High on Canva!
Last night during our 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐐&𝐀, I got to work with @Demetra Lambros on her journal/planner, and this is something everyone here needs to hear. She designed her book in Canva (and honestly… it looked amazing 👏). But when she looked into printing through Canva… the cost came out to $27 per copy 😳 Now compare that to Amazon KDP… 👉 The same type of book could be printed for around $3 as an author copy That’s not just a small difference...that’s a complete game changer when it comes to profit margins, pricing strategy, and actually building a scalable publishing business. I attached a short replay from our session where she asked some really good questions about: - Moving from Canva to KDP - Printing costs & profit margins - What to think about before publishing If you’re working on a journal, planner, or low-content book… this will help you avoid some expensive mistakes. Also—quick reminder about the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐫 👇 This wasn’t a private consult or 1:1… this was just one of our group Q&A calls. And here’s the thing—sometimes those calls are smaller, which means you get real-time, hands-on help like this. Inside Premium ($40/month), you get: ✨ Full Book Challenge Course: Step-by-step guidance to go from idea → published on Amazon ✨ 2 Live Q&A Calls Per Month: Bring your questions and get direct support to move faster ✨ 2 Monthly Workshops: Deep dives into things like formatting, promotion, and strategy ✨ DM + Loom Support: Stuck? Message me. I’ll help you keep moving. UPGRADE TO PREMIUM NOW If you’ve been sitting on a book idea or feeling stuck in the process…this is your sign to take action and actually get it done. Also shoutout to @Angel Conway for joining the party after we did our QA session. 😉

Steal This Coloring Book Idea
I’m about to give away a profitable book idea… but there’s a catch 👀 I’ll share it 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 25 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Why? Because I want to see who’s actually serious about publishing and not just lurking. Drop a comment below if you want the idea… And if we hit the goal, I’ll break down: • The exact niche • The keyword • Why it’s working right now • How I’d title + position it Let’s see who wants it!!
