I'm a non-US resident/citizen and want to receive funds to my US-based single-member LLC. The company is giving an option between Form W9 (US Resident/Resident Alien) or Form W8-BEN (Non-US Resident) Which one should I choose?
I've faxed Form SS4 with Articles of Organization to the IRS. Is there any way I can call the IRS to expedite the process like what I've seen others do? I tried calling 267 941 1099 and they said they can only assist for EIN applications for entities formed outside the US
Is it possible for me to open an HSBC account for my US company and submit the verification / KYC in my local country? HSBC has branches in my country, but I'm unsure if this is possible.
I'm going to open a US LLC in the state of Wyoming. I'll be using Bizee to create the LLC and then request my EIN directly from the IRS by filling out form SS4 (some people have said you can directly call them but I'm not sure) I live outside the US in a non-restricted country and I'm not sure if I can open an account with Mercury or RelayFi. Is there anyone who has experience with this? Thanks.
@Paola Moreno Thanks, do I need a US-based address to apply? I saw James's video that Mercury and RelayFi are closing down accounts without US addresses. I have my residential address but it's not in the US, can I use that? Thanks again.
