Transcript: Hello, it's Simple! Yay! And we are moving into the six steps of the Simple Six Skool Workshop that opened last Saturday. That's right, there are actually six spots still available this month, if you would like to hop in on that. This is the Simple, S-I-M-P-L-E Six Steps, over six weeks for implementation and growth, right, to make sure you don't just get set up, that you actually get started, and more importantly, that you keep growing.Yes, so this is good for starting a fresh new Skool for you or your business. This is good for a Skool you set up but maybe didn't start or that's kind of flatlined and maybe stagnating a little bit. And this is good for your Skool that's going great, but you'd like to optimize for growth boost a little bit, revisit the basics, and refresh, renew, revitalize your Skool. And that's what we do here in the Wise Wonderful World with me, your host, Wendy of Wiseman Integrative. We are the home of happier, healthier humans, creating a better world together, simplifying what it means to have and enjoy a healthy, wealthy, wise life. And Skool is a big part of that because it keeps it so simple, focused on connection, on relationships. It's not just an online e-learning platform, another course container, like we need another one of those, right? It's really about connection. The goal of Skool is to help a billion people find community, not help a billion people start online communities with courses and talk at people and spout thought leadership. No, it's about helping people find the right people, community, connection, coming together around a common cause or interest or outcome or experience, right, or your business.Yes, there's so many different ways to use Skool. It is an absolutely incredible tool. Max thought he was going to come see us, but he decided to go outside instead. Yes. Whoa, that was weird. My computer did something strange. So today I'm going to set up. I'm going to show you how simple it is. I'm going to set up with no graphics or anything prepared.I'm just going to go ahead and set up this new project that I'm starting for a game I've been playing called Kingshot. I do do a lingo German lessons to start to learn German just daily a little bit every day. And when I forget to turn off the ad blocker, I get fed ads.And one of them is Kingshot. And I tried it last year, but didn't like all of the clicking, repetitive behavior. But this year I clicked through it as a behavior that helped me when I was in a funk because I really wasn't that into it.I was doing it more as something to occupy my being while I could process some other things. And once you get through the initial stages, there's a wonderful community alliance and strategy game behind the beginning rote stages. And so I'm going to start a community to help other Kingshot beginner F2P, which is free to play, players get their start without all of the hype in so many of the YouTube videos. You know, I'm not an online gamer. I'm a non-gamer as far as the online realm. I played board games and things all my life.I love games, but I'm not a gamer, right? Per the modern online definition or association with the word. So I'm not up on a lot of the lingo or, you know, the voice chats and all of this, you know, the way they navigate and stuff. And a lot of us are just there to play a casual game and have fun, not spend money. Now the game does promote a lot of spending. And there are people that spend a lot of money, the pay to win, there's the pay to play P2P and the pay to win whales that are dropping a lot of money on this. But you can have a wonderful, enriching, fun experience without spending any money. You just farm the gems and there's strategies and ways to do that. And it's simple and it's fun. And I'm meeting some really incredible people. So I'm going to start right here right now. I'm going to set up the community to do that. It's just going to be a relaxed space where I'll do some YouTube videos. And then for a premium membership, people can hop on calls with me, right? They can support the information that I'm sharing and hop on calls with me. And VIP gets a little bit more one-to-one attention. Simple. One, two, three. How hard can it be? Let's take a look. Here we are in the Wyze Skool Community Hub, the public portal, delivering you all sorts of wonderful Wyze information about Skool and the healthy, wealthy Wyze life. How many times did I just say Wyze? Yeah, a lot about Skool. It's a lot more of a blog style. Notice all the posts are pretty much from me delivering information in these lives. It's a public portal and less of the community aspect, more of the presenting information. That's why it's public. It gets indexed by search engines and increases search and AI results, bringing people in to the Wyzeman Integrative Skool ecosystem, the hub of the three core communities I have going here on my profile. This, the community hub, where you learn about growing, building and growing, Skool building and growth. And then showcase, where you put your Skool in the spotlight. Or join the showcase squad for promotional productions. You don't have to have a Skool to participate. And then the Enjoy Simple Wyze Life is more the lifestyle community with daily happiness episodes. I love doing those. Other people love the relevant reminders. A lot of people don't show up daily, but they'll check in every once in a while and take away some feel-good prompts and activities. Up here you will see that my solid green of two and a half years has gotten some little gray spots as I've pulled back to some days my minimum daily, minimum viable activities, three activities. I keep up consistently with my daily minimums. But there have been some pulling back and largely focusing on the game and just life, right? Enjoying my life. And I lost the little flame emoji over here. And I didn't care. It's just an indicator that someone is all in. And I'm definitely proven that I'm all in.And I'm still going strong, even though it's not that solid 10 activities a day green. Because I just wasn't interested in continuing to click through seven more times. I came, I did my business, and I went about my life.So there you have it. All right. To start a community, there's different ways.Sometimes there's links over here. It's usually available in a Skool's classroom. You can find a place to start a Skool, usually in a classroom.Skool signups, et cetera. I'm going to pull up my friends link. You can also go to just what's going on? I'm sharing my screen.Okay. You can go right up here to the discovery, just above the discovery tab, discover communities is the create a community tab, right? And if you create a community, I would like for it to say Wendy Wiseman invited you up here at the top. You can hop on a call with me to walk you through doing just that. Why is this so dark here? Let me find my friends link. Search. There it is. I am using the link of the most notorious man on Skool, Joe DeFilippo, who is the creator, founder, and operator of Skooly, which I highly recommend you check out. Fabulous tools for a Skool. I'm going to just create my community.I always sign up for the pro plan for the free trial because it has some extra features. And then if you need to downgrade to the hobby, you can, but if you do have the profitable Skool quick start, like I guide you into having, then you can just stay with the pro for the extra features. If it's something you need, a lot of people just go for the hobby and that's enough.Super simple. So try it for free. Make your search friendly first group name, because this will be the Earl at the top with the dashes between these words. So you can change the title any time, but making it search friendly here before you change it to something shorter is often a wise strategy. And there you go. It's that simple.I have signed up for a Skool. I now have this new Skool community, right? Oh, and there's a two minute video that guides you through exactly what to do if you don't have an expert like me in your pocket. If you haven't signed up for something wonderful, like the simple six Skool workshop, right? And you're just going at your own, it guides you through exactly what to do.Set your cover image. That's this here. Upload cover photo, invite three people. It's where it begins. Invite three people, write your first post. So they have something to do when they come in and download the app because it makes it much easier to keep up with things.I'm primarily an app user. Though I do get on my laptop for these live videos and other activities sometimes. So that's it.It's now set up. Now these tabs up here, classroom, calendar, and map, you can turn all of those off if you want to begin with under the community tab. Tabs, categories.Go into tabs and you can toggle them off. So there's no classroom yet. Yep.There's no calendar yet, but we'll leave the map on because this is going to be global. So see how much cleaner that is up top. Now people aren't going to be looking for the classroom to go into, or they are not going to find a big empty classroom. They're just going to have this general discussion. These are advanced settings, you know, that aren't the beginning, set up and go thing, but I just like to do this. The categories is where you change from the general discussion to adding up to what eight or 10 new categories. But the only thing you really need to worry about to get started is, well, first and foremost, helping people discover you with a cover image. And this is where you would change the group name, put in a brief group description. I'm not really awake.Have fun playing King shot as to play to P there you go. That's a good start. Simple description. It tells you who it's for, what you're going to do. And, it's that simple. It's already there. This is also where you upload things. I don't have any images prepped right now. So I am just showing you the bare bones beginning. This is key. This is key. The title can be changed any time, right? I could delete that and make it just King shot beginners or free to play King shot Academy or whatever I want. This dashboard here is where you'll get your metrics. There's no data yet because, well, we just started it, right? And there's an invite link here for you to use as well with your unique, information or actually this goes to the about page. Let's click it and see, go to, yeah, it goes to the about page. This is the other key part. You can use the same image here and here to start with. You can see that it's a free community with one member and you want to add a description for right now.I'm just going to put the same thing I put over there, over here, and then you want to scroll down and click save. I'm going to come back and edit this later, but this is just a demonstration of how quick and simple it is to set up. Right. If I hadn't done the tabs about, you know, the, the map and the, the, the calendar in the classroom, it's under a minute to, to get set up and just start inviting people say, Hey, let's go. And then here for pricing is where you can set it's free. It's subscription. It's freemium. We're going to select freemium tiers, or if it's a one-time payment for people to get in, we're going to have a free site. We're going to have, $5 a month for, folks that want to hop in $25 a year. That's nice. Yeah. 58% discount.Awesome. And then I'll do some VIP for like $25 a month. Yeah.Quick and simple 50% discount for annual. And then you can add the benefits like, one to one, something like that. You can put one-to-one Q and a calls. group calls that shows the Ascension. And there you go.So it's that simple. Then you want to click save so that you have a plans page. Boom, boom, boom, quick and simple, right? Share this tab instead so that people can actually see what you're talking about, Wendy, and then go make another cup of coffee.Yeah. So this is phase one. You just set up and start. Okay. That's it's that simple set up and start. That's the S of simple set up and start.Yeah. Now the next one we'll get into as, I'll show you the improvements that I make over the week. Next week we'll get into the invite and ignite phase, and I'll talk more about the importance of some of these things. But there you go. Now, you can see down here, this white thing, you can access this wonderful view where you can look at the about page, the members page, the calendar, the classroom, the community as a non-member or various tiered member, depending once you get things set up. And you can access that option on the about page with this little eyeball here, because that becomes handy once you get into the classroom. Again, I'm getting ahead of myself. So a lot of different features and ways to do this, but first I'm just going to go make some simple images so that you can see next week, the keys to getting set up or upload cover photo, your title and your description. This is the attraction mechanism over here on the right, your group card, some might call it it's the attraction because it's what gets shown in ads and in discovery. It's what draws people into this about page, which is where the people decide if they want to click and join the community, right? So it's the steps into your world. This is the Skool discovery to find some good ideas for images on the group card. You come visit this. These are the top trending communities that are really crushing it right now and doing incredibly well. So you want to come and look at these and see what's working for people, not necessarily what the communities are about. And if it's interesting to you, that's not what we're doing here right now. We're looking at what's working. This page is all communities that are working incredibly well. Look at how crystal clear and simple this is.Medical courier hub, training tools, community, boom, it shows you what it is, who it's for, and what it's going to be right there in the image. That's it. I don't even need to read this, but it tells you more.Get access to job leads, contract tips, right? Very clear what it's about, who it's for, simple, not cluttered with a lot of stuff to read, simple and clear. Although this is a library. So, you know, this is for people who do like to read. So that fits the theme, yeah? So go ahead and explore the discovery. And of course, you can start your own community any time by clicking create your own. Again, I hope it says Wendy Wiseman invited you at the top.And you're also always welcome to hop on a call with me. All of that is in the classroom here. Available if I can get back there. No, this was not a planned episode at all. This is completely improv winging it. I just winged it for you.Like I said, I had nothing prepared. I just showed you how simple it is to have an idea, to set it up, and to get going. I'm going to invite some of the people I'm playing with. And I'm going to make some images. And then next week we'll go through the invite and ignite phase. Yes? But this was the set up and start. And that's exactly what I did. I set up and start.
