Jason Hagelberg and I are putting together the speaker lineup for an event we’re hosting in April and I thought some of the experts in this group might be a great fit. We’re hosting 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 — 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟲-𝟴 It’s a 3-day virtual event for Skool hosts who want to grow their communities without hustle marketing or complicated guru tactics. Is this your least favorite question ever? Usually it’s mine as well. I’m not gonna lie. If you’re the one asking the question, how does your partner feel about that? Cooking dinner every day is a chore. You go into the kitchen you think of something interesting to cook, something that will please somebody else may not even you, and you cook. As a chef, I am not exempt from this drudgery. But you know what the fastest way for me to make this into an enjoyable task is? To share it. I don’t even mind doing the work, I just mind standing in the kitchen by myself. So when my partner comes into the kitchen and cooks with me, or even sit at the counter and talks to me while I cook, it makes all the difference in the world. That’s when it switches from chore to connection. Spending time with him at the end of the day is what I want to do most. And when we’re together, nothing seems like as much of a chore. Need inspiration? One of the best things about my community, The Relationship Chef, is the week night cooking classes. Lots of different ideas, lots of quick and simple recipes that are easy to re-create on a weeknight. 45 minutes or less, ideally 30 minutes or less. Sometimes I talk too much.
