What started as a community to help support planting of trees and regenerating land is shifting into something much deeper. Today we are exploring bringing a deeper level of consciousness and alignment to our work and communities. Here is a shortened version of todays post, if it’s something that resonates with you or sparks a curiosity within, why not head over to My Tree Legacy and join the journey. “My husband is running a men’s retreat with a good friend, and his wife and I are part of the support crew. One of our roles is helping to hold and grow the energetic container of the retreat. So it isn’t simply a group of men sitting around a fire figuring things out. There’s a deeper layer of intention, connection and unseen work happening behind the scenes — helping to create the conditions for something meaningful to unfold. As part of the preparation, I’ve been meditating each morning and consciously working with the energetic container of the retreat. It got me thinking... What if we treated our businesses, projects and communities as energetic containers too? As something living and breathing that we're in relationship with, rather than simply something we're building or managing. 🔥 Would we become more discerning about what we put into them? 🔥 Would we notice when something felt out of alignment? 🔥 Would we become more conscious of the energy, intention and attention we bring to our work? The image that came to me during meditation was of feeding the inner campfire of the retreat. Like any real fire, we need to be mindful of what we're adding to it. 🔥 What are we feeding it? 🔥 Is it the right fuel? 🔥 Are we tending it carefully? 🔥Are we creating the conditions for it to burn well? Perhaps we can bring this same awareness into the things we're creating in our everyday lives. Before you begin work today, take a few deep breaths. Connect consciously with what you're about to do and ask: 🔥 What am I feeding this fire today?
