I Did it
Hello everyone, I'm thrilled to share that I've just received my coaching certification, and I couldn't let this moment pass without expressing my deepest gratitude to Ed JC Smith and the incredible community he has created. Ed, your program was not just educational; it was transformative. The comprehensive curriculum, hands-on training, and the supportive community environment have been game-changers for me. The way you've structured the program made all the difference, allowing me to not only learn but also apply these valuable lessons in real-world scenarios. The community you've fostered here is truly special. It's a place where everyone supports each other, shares insights, and grows together. This sense of belonging and mutual growth has been one of the highlights of my journey, and I deeply appreciate the role it has played in my development. For anyone out there considering this program, I cannot recommend it enough. It's more than just a certification; it's an opportunity to be part of something life-changing. The knowledge, skills, and connections you gain are invaluable. Ed, and this program, have had a profound impact on my life, and I am immensely grateful for the experience and for all that you have done for me. To Ed and everyone who has been part of my journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to this wonderful community.

Congratulation
Woah! These notes are amazing.
One Month ago i shared some of my notes about Eds course. You can see it here: https://www.skool.com/lifecoachcertificationfree/the-complete-course-in-a-50-page-pdf?p=304b16eb Some of you contact me (@Sharon Little, @Zac Solipsism, @Hannah Self Worth Coach, @Jameela Demian Korek, @Jerome Sluisdom, @Anda Senberga, @Jack Moscrop, @Rob Leon, @Deleted, @Chimine Li and @Alexandra Corless ) to share with you my notes with them... and i have it on my agenda... but i still need it for a few weeks more to train myself.... but for sure you that i will share it with all of you. Just a little more patience ๐Ÿ™ Nowdays i am working more on the material and i am constructing "my first own script". I began with a simple Excel sheet with some notes... and now i have (1) the hole course + (2) Eds Script + (3) My own Script in one amazing Excel Sheet ๐Ÿฅณ I share some images so you can see what it is about... for now itยดs only in Spanish! ๐Ÿ˜ (I will translate it to English) If anyone wants me to share my notes with you, just contact me and in the next few weeks (maybe a few months) I will contact you one by one to share it. I only ask in return to be able to share a coaching session where we can practice mutually ๐Ÿ™ Thanks to everybody on this Community.

@Jose Maria Alot Aguilar thanks for sharing and looking forward to practice soon. Looking forward to the English version of your notes.
Been There. Done That.
Do you really believe that in order to be an effective expert coach, you have to have actually done the thing or been through the situation yourself in which you are coaching your client through now? Or, do you think itโ€™s possible to coach someone through something (or out of some situation) in which you lack direct experience? For example, if a coach has never been addicted to drugs, could they not still be an effective coach to a drug addict that is seeking help to quit doing drugs?

@Maverick Garner definitely you can coach any one and you do not have the experience. Coaching is different from mentoring. With the coaching skills, listening, empathy and the right questions you can unfold the situation for the coachee and help to self-discover the challenges and increase their self-awareness to find out their own way. In coaching we believe the clients is the best person to unfold and solve any situation thru support of the coach. Helping them to reflect on their own situation and see it in different perspective to find the right action to move on and solve the issue. So, practicing the coaching skills is the best way of supporting anyone to coach. In Mentoring of course the experience is important because you will share your own way so the coachees will get insights and then decide what to do for their situations. Insights form your own experience facilitate and faster a specific situation the client may suffer with. Your own experience will widen their horizon and not necessarily they will copy your solution but in fact they will start seeing their own solutions.
Ready with more practice
I am so excited I am practicing the skills with few surrounding people and trying on some family members (I am not sure it will be successful coz in previous years coaching did not work with my family at all especially close ones) I am not giving up and trying to be less judgmental and building the coaching expertise thru the model I learned to test if it will work at this time. Finger crossed. How is it for you when you would like to offer your skills to your close family and especially your own ones (spouse and kids) any tips if you succeed? what was your success factors?
