Happy Mother's Day to everyone celebrating this weekend ๐Ÿ’
I want to share something I don't talk about enough given I spent a year researching and refining it. When I was doing my Masters in Entrepreneurship I was also working full time in a senior leadership role. Very full life, a lot of self-imposed pressure, and a genuine obsession with figuring out whether business ideas actually worked before anyone wasted time and money on them. I kept seeing the same two reasons businesses failed come up in my research over and over: Running out of money before becoming profitable and not understanding the market well enough before starting. Both of those are problems you can see coming, if you know where to look. So I built a feasibility model. Tested it with 50 real business owners as part of my research. Refined it until it actually told you something useful. And eventually turned it into BizCalcโ„ข. Here's what it does: โœ… Profitability Score (0โ€“100) - Green zone ready to go, Amber zone needs tweaking, Red zone here's why it's not viable yet โœ… 3-year revenue and cost forecasts โœ… Pricing analysis - test different price points and see exactly what happens to your margins โœ… Scenario modelling - adjust your expenses, your market size, your pricing, and watch how your numbers change in real time before you've spent a cent โœ… Break-even point and startup capital estimate โœ… Full Profit Report in plain English with action steps I built it because I didn't want to spend months building something that the numbers would have told me didn't work and then I developed further and tested it on business owners for my Masters (which earned me a 'distinction' for my efforts ๐Ÿฅณ) It was a complicated spreadsheet which is now a GPT so I can share it and you don't have to waste time either, especially not if you are doing this alongside a job and a family with limited time and zero margin for wasted effort. This week I'm offering it at a special Mother's Day price - $37 down to $22 because lets not keep juggling it all and trying to figure out by ourselves, this tool can tell you if your idea is worth backing before you go all in.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone celebrating this weekend ๐Ÿ’

Great tool! I might have a collab idea for you ๐Ÿ˜‰ Let's just say BizCalc thinks my idea (which actually is quite complimentary to your GPT) is a strong one (score: 86)

Experiment #1: The Final Results ๐Ÿงช
30 days. 76 members. Goal was 100. I didn't hit it. And I'm genuinely okay with that, here's why. The final numbers: Members: 76 | Engagement: 81% | Discovery rank: 1,568 (started at 4,075) | Conversion rate: in recovery ๐Ÿ˜… | Visitors: see the graph below ๐Ÿ‘‡ What the visitor graph actually shows: Two very different spikes. The first was from my Job to CEO bundle - warm, interested people who knew what they were signing up for then at the tail end of that spike, the first try of meta ads. The second more recent spike was the second Meta ad, lots of visitors (eg. better advert round 2), much lower conversion. Cold traffic but also some About page work needed here. What worked: The community crawl: 11 members in one evening from participating in a challenge (thank you @Lidia Axe) Posting in other Skool communities consistently - when I showed up and connected with others it built that relationship and also gave me the ๐Ÿ”ฅ! The bundle - warmest traffic, best conversion by a mile Keywords - discovery rank went from 4,075 to 1,568. Something is working even if I can't fully attribute it yet, I do wonder if its reflecting the engagement... Email - I'm starting to see people coming through from my email list which is awesome but a lesson in not to wait for weeks before you talk about your new group ๐Ÿ™„ What didn't: Meta ads - I ran two adverts, one NZ$27 for 5 days, 244 visitors, approximately 1 member; the other NZ$34 for 7 days, 1,634 (!!!) visitors, 1 member...Cold traffic to a free community without a seriously compelling landing page (despite many edits to it during that period) is a tough sell. I am going to revisit this one, the advert was obviously so much better the second time but the About Page was not converting... at least I know 50% of the equation works ๐Ÿ˜‚ Going quiet - every time life took over and I stopped showing up, growth slowed immediately. The data on this was unambiguous and slightly annoying ๐Ÿ˜‚ but also great - show up consistently!

Congratulations! I feel like it is like with a diet...you are 76% further along today than you were a month ago even if you did not hit that one specific goal number. And I am very much enjoying being one of those 76 new members!

30-Day CEO Streak Challenge
Most of us don't fail because we don't know what to do. We fail because we don't stay consistent long enough to see results. So let's fix that. Right here. Right now. ๐Ÿ”ฅ I'm running the 30-Day CEO Streak Challenge: one small business action every single day for 30 days. No motivation required. Just do one action. Lets keep the engagement in this group alive! Already consistent? Perfect. Join anyway and lead by example. Just getting started? This is the simplest way to build the habit. ๐Ÿ”ฅ YOUR MISSION Do one action in your business every day. Show up here and track it. Keep your streak alive. That's it. No pressure to be perfect. Just show up. ๐Ÿ”ฅ WHAT COUNTS? - A growth action (new people finding you e.g. post in a Skool group) - A sales action (offer exposure: email your list about your offer - I know shocking, talking about what you sell) - An authority action (starting a conversation) - An optimisation action (improving something - fixing an email sequence ๐Ÿ˜‰) If it moves your business forward, it counts. For CEO Dashboard owners, use your actions list! ๐Ÿ”ฅ HOW TO TRACK IT Comment below with ๐Ÿ”ฅ Day 1 and what you did you move your business forward today. Daily format: ๐Ÿ”ฅ Day 1 - Today I: [what you did] ๐Ÿ”ฅ Day 2 - Today I: [what you did] Miss a day? Your streak resets. Start again. No shame, just restart. The reward? Being able to share the results from taking consistent action because there will be results! ๐Ÿ’ก The CEO Dashboard has a daily score and notes column built for exactly this kind of tracking. If you want to see the cumulative effect of 30 days of consistent action on your actual business numbers that's where you'll see it... I'll be doing this alongside you. Let's go. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Comment ๐Ÿ”ฅ Day 1 below to start right now. ๐Ÿ‘‡

I have gotten way off my CEO streaking but hopefully today's activity counts for a week's worth! I just launched my own Skool group!!! The Color Typology Lab is free and built around a question I keep coming back to in my work: how does personality type shape the way people implement structured guidance? I use color analysis as the primary lens because it is a surprisingly clear test case, but the group is for anyone curious about MBTI, Enneagram, Big Five, and how those frameworks affect the way we absorb and apply information. It is also an entry point into my work at The Style Typology, where I do structured, attribute-based personal color analysis for high-level operators and professional women.I f you have ever wanted a color result that is documented, evidence-based, and structured for how you actually think and apply information, that is what I do. The group is where we explore the why. The Style Typology is where we put it to work. If that's your kind of rabbit hole, come check it out. https://www.skool.com/the-color-typology-lab-7535/about

Today I activated my embedded and pop-up forms on my website that leads to an email with my freebie. I also linked my Skool group in the thank you screen after both of the forms. Tomorrow, I will revise my freebie with the feedback provided by @Niky Egerton and @Sage Grayson. Plus, I was accepted into the AICI and signed up as a member for BAAPT and APTi. All three are relevant for my niche of helping people see how their personality preferences can inform their implementation of a personal color analysis. Getting some forward, momentum!
