Inspired by @Marisa Pell’s genius idea of asking her group what she should called her podcast, I’d like to do the same for this community. All ideas welcome!

After 3 years as #TheLounge w/ Marisa (video livestream), we took a break to re-focus, launch our new Skool community - and simplify the brand! After running the name by people, and confusing myself, I decided to let the audience choose it! Since they’ve been listening in for so long, I figured they would be best to ask! So, we re-launched IMPERFECTLY and will continue to refine our thumbnails, graphics, etc. and plan to up our game technically as well. But this was a great start in the new direction! We streamed live into our Skool group, YT and FB (got most of our views there). This method of content is also great for engagement! Now looking to repurpose long form more easily! Any insights on that or on the re-brand would be awesome! Seeking some insight on thoughts on a livestream rebrand! We’ve run weekly on Fridays live throughout the pandemic (and people were home!) and became loyal audience viewers and interacted weekly. We did a combination of live interviews, and featured also live musicians in between. It was quite a run, and kept people inspired during a time when the world was experiencing so much anxiety! Once things started moving out, we realized more people were out on Friday nights and moved it to Sundays live, but that time slot didn’t seem to capture our normal viewership either. So we started pre-recording and airing live in between. We have been on break now for a few months with the plan to restructure and realign for the current times. I was thinking of even being more intentional as we have just built out our free community and perhaps this can be re-named as an extension of the community. @Matthew Thompson Thoughts on rebranding podcast names and themes? Looking to connect more with your audience on your video podcast or livestream, AND feeling a little shy or uncomfortable on camera? Video is GREAT way not only to CONNECT with your community and clients, but also a QUICK way to establish credibility, authority on your expertise and trust. Also, creating consistent video content helps you BUILD community around you, and turn them into loyal listeners. (a key benefit) I discussed the opportunity of bringing a mini training to the Podcast Key group, and would love to get an idea of some struggles and stuck points you might have with being on camera that you would love to solve! I’ve wanted to start a podcast forever, and one of the appeals was that it was audio not video, but now it seems like everyone is doing them as video. So my questions are: ➡️ is audio only still a viable option? ➡️ Is it worth putting the audio on YouTube with a still picture / audiogram Any thoughts on this appreciated 🙂 PS.
