Hello, I am DR. Shelby Decker. For me, navigating the turbulence of life has often given me strength and tenacity. However, hitting rock bottom repeatedly has driven me to embrace necessary changes. Key turning points—divorce, battling cancer, academic journeys from undergrad to doctorate, caregiving, and managing finances—have all been opportunities for structured growth. These moments of picking up the pieces and moving forward have instilled a drive for drastic action. Now, being in remission, I am re-structuring my life again with the focus of developing my business as a business strategist. My passion lies in helping others achieve their goals through inspiration, empowerment, and education, fostering greater community contributions. This passion for creating structured programs extends to both non-profit and professional organizations. Since my academic journey ended in 2021, AI has become an area of interest the need for knowledge and application. I earned my Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on strategy and innovation from Capella University, where my dissertation on Diversity and ROI is archived in the Library of Congress. My EMBA degree in Leadership from the Jack Welch Management Institute and have a traditional MBA from Strayer University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Besides my academics, I have corporate, non-profit, and teaching experience. I have contributed to 6 International Best Sellers. Living in the Fort Lauderdale area, I am a devoted caregiver to both my parents. My commitment to military nonprofits is inspired by three generations of family service. My core values of education and entrepreneurship are deeply rooted in my family background. I am also the proud mother of a college-aged daughter studying nursing. I strive to inspire others to make meaningful contributions to their communities. I am looking forward to learning to be more efficient, new techniques, and share with others.
