Have you heard of the 30-day pledge?
Beyond resolutions and intentions is the 30-day pledge. The 30-day pledge is a loving commitment to yourself, that helps you to upgrade your health, wellbeing, and ultimately your life. It’s also time bound. You can do anything for 30 days! I invite you to take the pledge with me, if and when you’re ready. The rules… 1.) Pick 1-3 things you’d like to take a break from for 30 days. Could be food, habits, or something else. What would make the biggest difference for you? For me, it’s sugar, dairy, and grains. I want to have a healthy, happy gut, and these substances don’t support that for me. Taking a break from them would feel good to my body. 2.) Pick 1-3 things you’d like to do daily for 30 days. Could be practical, purely fun, or a mix of both. Nature hates a vacuum, so it’s important to add things in when you are taking something out . The things I plan to add or continue daily…writing down 5 exciting goals, making a video of any length, and doing at least 10 minutes of intentional movement. 3.) Write the pledge on a piece of paper, take a picture, and share it in the comments below. Or write it in the comments first by copying and pasting and then write it on a piece of paper. If you choose the latter, remember to come back and share a picture of your written pledge in the comments! It’s important to do this in physical writing. 4.) Put your written pledge somewhere where you can see it daily Optional: Start a Personal Accountability Thread in the Thrive Community to share how your Pledge is going. Update it daily or weekly, whatever feels best. You can start on whatever day you’re ready. It can be today, tomorrow, or someday next week. Here is the pledge… I, (your name), pledge to let go of… (write things you’re taking a break from) for the next 30 days. I choose this because…(share your reasons why) I further pledge to daily… (write things you will do daily) I choose this because … If I miss a day during these next 30 days, for whatever reason, I will shower myself with love and compassion. I will start the 30 day count again on the following day, with commitment to my pledge.

Good one! Will see if something comes up for me in the course of the next days ...I usually don't start resolutions until a bit later in the year (or a bit before the end of a year) because the new year ones don´t tend to stick with me....
Motivation Monday!
Ok, this video is totally not my style, and to be honest, Shia’s intensity was a bit jarring to me. But, this video is also inspiring, and there’s definitely truth in his words. It’s also super short, which I appreciate as a person with a full, active life. I bet some of you will totally love this and get motivated by it. Others of you might absolutely hate it! Feel free to yell at the screen if you hate it… It’s good to get your anger out in constructive ways, and anger can help create positive momentum, so use it to your advantage! What do you think fellow Thrivers, yay or nay on this motivation video? Vote in the poll and share in the comments!

@Lauren Kinghorn So right I was looking for the HILARIOUS option too. "Comedy" as a performance in terms of body language...🤣
A Check-In Buddy Can Make All the Difference
Have you ever had a check-in buddy, or accountability buddy, and experienced how much easier it can be to take steps forward when you're checking in with someone daily or weekly? Share your experiences in the comments below. If you would like to Upgrade your healing and transformation game, consider making a Check-in Buddy post or comment below. Just say, "Looking for a check-in buddy" and post a short introduction of yourself and the goals you're working on. You can make a new post for this or comment below. Look through the comments below and posts in the group. When you see someone you resonate with, reach out with, "Hey, do you want to be my check-in buddy?" How it works: Once you have your check-in buddy, you will each make a Personal Accountability Post in the Thrive Community, sharing the health and wellness goals you're currently working on. You will tag your check-in buddy in the post with @name. As the week and month goes on, you will make comments under your own personal accountability post, sharing how your goals and intentions are going for you. In each comment, you'll tag your check-in buddy with @name so they can see your posts and support you and celebrate you! But everyone else in the community can support and celebrate you too! Optional: You can also DM your check-in buddy to set up a weekly connection check-in time via Zoom or phone, if you'd like. You do have to be on level 3 to DM someone. Posting, commenting, and liking things gets you there in no time!

I have been experimenting with IF for the last two weeks, and it works really well for me. I found out that for me, it is extremely liberating not having to worry about food in the evenings. And: No more sugar cravings, which is a big success!
