Psychedelic Sickness...
New Years Eve I got sick. Not regular sick. Psychedelic sickness. Mind numbing migraines. Sore throat. A cough that made me fear each breath because of the migraine pain it induced. Fever. Chills. A wisdom tooth decided to lock my jaw shut. My wife joked about my annual "man cold" until she got it 2 days ago and started her own journey through it. This wasn't the start to 2026 I planned. But maybe it was the one I needed? 3 days in bed. Sweaty. Surrendered. All the projects, content, and plans I wanted to build... they waited. Super frustrating. But I was left to sit with the pain, the surrender, and the idea that without health nothing else matters. 🕊️ A cool Spirit Download 10 days before New Years, my wife's family and I wrote down 10 intentions for 2026. We cut them into pieces, crumpled them up, and each day we'd either burn or throw away one piece without looking. Allowing spirit to guide what mattered most. Our #1 focus for 2026 would be revealed on Jan 1st. Want to guess what mine was? Health and body. The day I got sick ur hiLaRIous Spirit. But being grateful for the sickness was my mantra and as a result this sickness had 3 downloads for me that apply to both health and business. /// 1️⃣ Addition by subtraction Before I got sick I was feeling overwhelmed. The sickness forced me to ONLY focus on the few things I could actually do each day. I thought more about this and realized the path forward wasn't about adding. It was about releasing. Removal felt aligned with what my body was already doing during the sickness. Getting rid of things. Purging. I got rid of coffee. 50 Skool communities. Clothes. A load of things on my to-do list. Clutter. Expenses and subscriptions. Plans and expectations. Non-whole foods. All the apps on my phone. I even fully shaved my beard for the first time in 10+ years. I'm not done yet. I can see both in health and business I love to over-complicate things. The first step isn't adding a vision board.

Slow down resets are always valuable . The yin is just as important as the yang.
Are you selling information or are you actually serving people?
Because here's the deal... These are two COMPLETELY different business models. Different systems. Different goals. Different teams. Different ads. Hell, they even have different growth rates, different challenges, and different benefits. Information is WAY more scalable... But it's also WAY harder to sell. Service isn't as scalable... But it's WAY easier to sell. Now look - your services CAN have an information component. But if you're a coach? Don't forget your actual JOB is to serve people. Don't worry about scaling... Focus on serving. Get so damn good at your craft that you attract the BEST clients. Get so good you can charge premium prices. Get so good you literally CHANGE LIVES. Here's what's gonna happen: Coaches who have a SYSTEM... A METHOD... A MECHANISM for helping their clients win... Those coaches are gonna THRIVE in the AI world. Why? Because they can use AI to help implement their unique system... And their clients can actually get DELIVERABLES. But coaches who are just selling promises and information? Who can't deliver actual RESULTS? They're getting wiped out by AI. Fast. So here's what I want you to remember: Your role is to serve. To inspire. To create. To connect. To COACH. Not to be some influencer or info peddler. That's it.

@Dan Harrison danSo are you saying that I could plunk my frameworks into ai and then generate individualized details per person I’m serving?

@Dan Harrison i just met a lady at one of my womens groups who is going to Dubai and she has an ai company, and she showed me how you can code your own ai using vibe coding. i think its worth the initial data plunking if you are a framework guy, which you are ;)

Life is hard.
If you're going after something big... big goals, big dreams, something new for you . whether that's your health, your relationship, your business, your wealth, whatever. . The expectation that it's somehow going to be easy? That it won't be full of challenges and hardship? . That's naive. . And when the challenges show up, because they will, . the mindset that wants to run away from them? . That's the enemy. That's passivity. That's avoidance. That's smallness. . Because the challenges and frustrations and hardships? That's the invitation. That's the invitation into becoming the version of yourself that's required. . And the small challenge in front of you right now? . You don't even know. But this is the dojo. This is what's required of you because you're going after great things. . This particular frustration or challenge is going to develop you. . It will be used. It'll be God's challenge to us. And it's my belief that God Challenges us because he loves us. . God inspires us with big dreams and desires, and then challenges us along the path so we might become closer with Him. . So we realize our own efforts, our limited selves, our small selves disconnected from God, will never be able to achieve our potential. . Some of the most challenging things in my life have become the things I'm most grateful for. . In the moment, I couldn't see it. But looking back? I wouldn't trade them for the world. - An overwhelming, insurmountable amount of debt. I'm so grateful for that. - Going back to school to get my CFP and rewriting the idea that I'm a bad student. So grateful for that. - Having kids. Jeez. The sleepless nights. The uncertainty. The learning curve. Hard. And so grateful. - Making the choice for our family to go on one income without it being enough—before we had enough. So grateful. Hard. Really hard. - Marriage. The disagreements. The conflict. Hard. And so so grateful. . And inside all of the challenges for me? The way out has been prayer and faith.

this is my favourite post youve made @Dan Harrison funny the song im working on writing right now sings: Journeying your way through life doesn't always come so easy, journeying your way through life doesnt always come so kind. You gotta find your path, gotta find your voice, gotta make your way through the noise. Journeying your way through life doesnt always come so easy. I guess for me its all about authenticity, and its been all about healing my wounds that have festered my self doubt along the way. I stand a lot more assured than i was before, but i still have self doubt gremlins creep in. I guess that element of god taking the car steering wheel is powerful to me because then im in the passenger seat, but it also means that the most benevlont there is means it could only be in the greatest and highest good for others (and myself). I dont know what that looks like yet, i think god has such a bigger plan than i know about. I have felt glimmers of it though. Even in my hardest times, i rememebr this feeling like there was a north star that i was heading for if i could just keep going through the fog. That lighthouse got me through alot of rewiring and movement through some thick layers. Now i just wanna be that lighthouse for others. i think it can be as simple as that. I think being a safe space for people, god will use us like an instrument if weve done the work to prepare and "tune it" Much love
