Where do you want to live?
Most people won't say it out loud. That's exactly why they stay stuck. There's a psychological principle most guys miss: humans will work harder to avoid looking like a liar than they will to chase their own dream in private. When your goal lives in your head, you can quietly let it die, and nobody knows. But when you put it out in front of your community, your name, your face, and your reputation are now attached to it. You stop negotiating with yourself. That's the whole game. Public commitment is leverage on your future self. So here's the post. Two lines. Don't overthink it: Where I live now: Where I'll be living within [X] years: I'll go first. Right now: Sogamoso, Colombia. Next: a penthouse in Bogotá, and a beach house in Miami. Not "someday." Locked in. Now your turn. Drop yours in the comments. Be specific. The vague version is the version that doesn't happen. City, type of place, timeline. The guys who post are the guys who move. The guys who scroll past already told you everything you need to know about them.
How vets get 4 free nights at Atlantis Bahamas
Most vets will never use this. Not because it's hard. Because they won't follow 6 simple steps. Here's the play: Step 1. Sign up for Caesars Rewards. Free. Takes 2 minutes online. Step 2. Walk into a U.S. Caesars property in person. This part is non-negotiable — there's no online verification. Bring your military ID, DD214, or VA card. Step 3. Ask for the Salute Card at the Caesars Rewards Center. They verify, and you walk out with it. Step 4. You're now auto-upgraded to Platinum status. That's the key that unlocks Atlantis. Step 5. Call Atlantis Casino VIP Services: 888-877-7592 Tell them: "I'm a Caesars Rewards Platinum member through the Salute Card. I want to book my complimentary Atlantis stay." Step 6. Pick your dates smart. The 4 fully-complimentary months are January, May, September, and October. Avoid March, April, and June — those are "stay 2, get 2 free," not fully comped. Blackout dates apply, so book early. What you get: Up to 4 free nights at The Coral Tower. One time per year. What you still pay: Flights. Food. Resort fees (~$65/night). Housekeeping gratuities. Anything you charge to the room. You're not showing up broke and living like a king for free. Budget $400-500 for the fees alone before you spend a dollar on food, drinks, or the casino. Backup if comp nights aren't available: - Atlantis direct: up to 25% off for military - Caesars properties (Vegas, AC, etc.): up to 40% off via ID.me verification This is the kind of move most vets will never make. Not because it's complicated. Because they won't drive to a Caesars property to get the card. The system rewards execution. Always has.

Dopamine Detox — Day 1
2018: got out of the Marines broke. 2020: locked in. Monk mode. Meditate, write, read, work. Hit $10K/month. Then I started enjoying life. Dropped to $2K. Moved to Colombia. Locked in harder. Hit $20K/month and $300K in my portfolio. Moved to Bogotá. Had fun. Trips, drinks, chasing stuff. A year later — zero. Quarter million gone. Moved to Dunham. Locked in. Back to $15K. Got comfortable. Fell off again. Medellín. Locked in. $20K+. Now Sogamoso. Rent dropped from $2,700 to $450. Didn't need to grind to survive. So I took my foot off the gas. Hard. Two days ago I realized this might be the worst financial month I've had in years. It always comes back to three things: Write. Read. Meditate. Stop those, everything collapses. Here's why it matters for what we do: Digging a ditch for 9 hours? I can do that hungover. Dumb work doesn't care how you feel. Investing, online business, content — that runs on willpower. Not muscle. And willpower runs on meditation. If you can't sit still for 10 minutes a day, you won't have what it takes for the hard stuff. The micro practice IS the macro. The real killer right now is dopamine. I got back into doomscrolling. Open Instagram, 30 seconds later you've seen a billionaire giving away money, a Dubai sunset, and a dog getting rescued. Your brain wasn't built for that. Dopamine isn't pleasure. It's motivation. Spike high → crash below baseline → now the normal stuff (writing, working, recording) feels impossible. You don't have fuel for it. Doomscroll, p***, sugar, video games — then try to do the hard thing? Not happening. You can't reset in 10 minutes. You're cooked for the day. The fix: Wake up. Don't touch your phone. No music. No sweets. Go straight into the work. Keep dopamine LOW in the morning. Then EARN it through meditation, writing, reading. Once you meditate, everything else becomes fun — because you finally have the capacity to do it. Take this from me: A bad month doesn't make you lazy. You just broke your system. Reset. Rebuild.

Dopamine Detox — Day 1
Welcome back killers
Originally, I started this community as a place for people to connect. Not everyone wants to go all in on investing right away, and that’s fine. The idea was to create a space where like-minded people could come together. Active duty military, veterans, and anyone looking to surround themselves with people who want to grow. So we’re bringing the Six Figure Vet community back to life. You’re all welcome to post, share ideas, connect with each other, and use this as a place to grow mentally, emotionally, and most importantly, economically. I’m glad to have you all here. If you want to drop a welcome post below and introduce yourself, go for it. It’s always good to see who’s in the room.
