Nehemiah 8:10
“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Devotional
Joy is different from happiness.
Happiness depends on your circumstances.
Joy comes from your relationship with God.
You can have joy even when life is difficult.
You can have peace even when you’re under pressure.
You can smile even when you’re still waiting for breakthrough.
Why?
Because your hope isn’t found in your situation—it’s found in your Savior.
The enemy wants to steal your joy because he knows joy gives you strength.
Don’t allow temporary circumstances to rob you of an eternal confidence.
Every morning you wake up is another opportunity to choose joy.
Not because everything is perfect…
But because God is still good.

Prayer Focus
Lord, restore my joy.
Ask God to:
- Fill your heart with His joy
- Replace discouragement with hope
- Help you rejoice in every season
- Strengthen you through His presence
