How to Navigate Skool
Prayer warriors
I come to you asking for prayers again for baby Graham! This is from his aunt. Graham Update 🩵 This is not the news we had hoped to share, but we know God is not surprised by any of this. We are asking for your continued unwavering prayers because Graham’s next hurdle is an incredibly big one. After further testing, doctors discovered a brain tumor approximately the size of a golf ball. At this time, they believe it may be an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer, one they see in only about one in a million babies. While those words are overwhelming, we continue to believe that God is writing a story far greater than we can see. Graham is scheduled for brain surgery on Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. In the midst of this devastating news, we have already witnessed incredible evidence of God’s hand. Doctors told Max & Kayla that if Graham hadn’t first developed the kidney tumor, they likely never would have found the brain tumor until it was too late. What first felt like the worst possible news may very well have been the miracle that saved his life. Another miracle came through Graham’s mom, Kayla. The MRI almost didn’t happen yesterday, but she trusted her instincts and firmly advocated for her baby until it was done. That scan she pushed for revealed the tumor. We truly believe God gave her the strength, wisdom, and courage to speak up exactly when it mattered most. The tumor is located on the back left side of Graham’s brain and has caused fluid to build up, which doctors believe explains the severe vomiting episodes he had been experiencing. This area of the brain is responsible for motor skills. Because Graham is still so young and has not yet developed many of those skills, his medical team is hopeful that, with successful surgery and the right therapies, he will still have the opportunity to learn and develop them. The neurosurgeon has performed this operation before and feels prepared for what lies ahead, giving us another reason to hold onto hope.
Today’s Devotional
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Devotional God never transforms your life just for you. He transforms you so that others can see His goodness through you. The discipline you’ve built… The peace you’ve found… The confidence you’ve gained… The faith you’ve developed… These aren’t meant to be hidden. Someone is watching how you respond to challenges. Someone is inspired by your consistency. Someone is waiting to see if your faith is real. You don’t have to have a microphone to make an impact. Your kindness can be a sermon. Your integrity can be a testimony. Your discipline can point someone to Christ. As God changes you, let your life become evidence of His grace. Don’t just talk about Jesus. Live like Him. Reflection Who in your life needs to see the love of Christ through your actions this week?
