Mt. Greylock is named after Chief Greylock of the Abenaki Native American tribe. He was known for his warrior spirit and ability to be victorious in battle throughout his leadership. This mountains is a very special place to connect with nature. 🏔️ 🌲 🥾

Saturday, I ventured out to the Berkshires with a new friend. We headed to the highest peak in Massachusetts, Mt. Greylock where we completed the Bellows Pipe/ Gould Trailhead Loop. We ended up hiking a total of 7.78 miles. This was BK’s first hiking adventure and he completed the loop just 6 days before hip surgery and with a titanium rod in his femur!
