The prompt for today was "Beloved," your worth was settled before your work began. Scripture: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...” Jeremiah 1:5 Your Creator formed you, knows everything about you, the good and the bad, and loves you beyond all measure. He has set you apart for a purpose, you matter, and not because of any good works you have done but because He loves His children. Do you know that your Creator loves you more then anyone on this earth?

Such a beautiful day in an amazing place! The prompt for today was "Renewal," God restores what feels worn thin. Scripture: “Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31 These next days are a time of renewal for me, in our long winters I have missed the sun so much. Missed the warmth and the joy of just being in creation without all the layers of clothes and shoes. Our strength, our joy, can all be found when we rest in Him.

The prompt for today was "Rest," rest is an act of trust. Scripture: “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 I have been challenging myself to work without a reference images for a lot of these drawings, so this one came to me truly from a blank page. I didn't expect to get emotional, but today I have been preparing for a trip with my kids to the Bahamas. We leave tomorrow morning and I've only ever been on one other plane trip before. I am also traveling without my husband. It's been a day of asking God to take my burdens in His hands.

I've really enjoyed this challenge. Thank you for offering such a creative journey. I'm going to bind my pages together and create a prayer journal. I have never done one before, so I'm looking forward to adding to what the Lord has shown me so far.

A couple of days into my vacation I lost my phone in the ocean! I have been posting on Instagram on someone else’s phone, but lost access to several things until I am able to get home and get a new phone!
