How To Pray Genesis 3:2 😄
Genesis 3:2 says:
“The woman said to the serpent, ‘We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,’” (NIV).

Father, help me to clearly understand Your Word and discern Your will for my life. Just as Eve knew what You commanded, guide me to stay firm in Your truth. Protect me from deception and give me the wisdom to know what is good and what is not according to Your Word.
3. Seek Strength to Obey God’s Commands:
Though Eve knew God’s command, she later disobeyed. Ask for strength and the resolve to remain faithful to God’s instructions in every area of life.

Lord, give me the strength to obey Your commands even when temptation comes my way. Help me to be strong in moments of weakness and to remember that Your commands are given for my good and for Your glory.
4. Ask for Protection from Temptation:
The serpent approached Eve in an attempt to lead her into disobedience. Pray for protection from the enemy’s schemes and for the ability to recognize when you are being tempted or misled.
Prayer Example:
God, I ask for Your protection from the schemes of the enemy. Guard my heart and mind so that I can resist the temptations that seek to lead me away from Your path. Help me to stay rooted in Your truth.
5. Pray for Obedience in Community:
Lastly, this verse represents not just an individual challenge but a communal one. Pray that, like Adam and Eve, your family or faith community will remain faithful and obedient to God’s commands.
Prayer Example:
Father, I pray for those around me—my family, my friends, my church community. Help us to support one another in staying obedient to Your Word. May we encourage each other in faithfulness and stand firm together against any deceit or temptation.
