How To Pray 13:7 🙏🏽

Genesis 13:7 (KJV):

“And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.”

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for the reminder in Genesis 13:7 that even in seasons of blessing and increase, strife can arise if peace is not guarded. Lord, help me to recognize when conflict is threatening my relationships, family, or community.

Give me the wisdom to respond in love and humility instead of pride or anger. Teach me to seek peace, to be slow to speak, and quick to listen. Just as Abram later chose the path of peace with Lot, help me to prioritize unity over possessions, status, or gain.

Father, where there is division in my life, be the God who restores harmony. Where strife has taken root, let Your Spirit bring healing. May my words and actions be led by grace, so that others see Your character in me. And when conflict comes, remind me that peace is possible when I trust in You more than in myself.
