*BMI and ASCAP have different payout schedules.
BMI Payout Schedule:
- BMI pays out royalties quarterly, with payment dates typically falling in February, May, August, and November ¹ ² ³.
ASCAP Payout Schedule:
- ASCAP distributes royalties monthly, with payments made approximately 6-7 months after the end of each three-month performance quarter.
- For example, performances from January to March are paid out in September or October ⁴ ⁵.
