Pulse is the heartbeat of the track. It’s the steady rhythmic energy that keeps the listener locked in. Even if the song is slow, the pulse gives it movement. When you add pulse to a prompt, you’re telling the music to breathe and move, not just sit there sounding pretty. Think of it like this: No pulse = background music Strong pulse = people nodding their head without realizing it Example Suno Prompt “Smooth R&B track with a steady rhythmic pulse, warm electric piano, deep bass groove, and intimate female vocals about late night conversations.” Notice how the word pulse tells the track to keep moving.
