Fork in the road
Hi everyone, I’ve been learning about influencer marketing for a while, but I only started implementing what I’ve learned about three weeks ago. Right now, I’m facing an issue with my business email. My emails are not landing in recipients’ primary inboxes and are almost always going to the spam/junk folder. I understand this may be because the email domain is still new. I’ve received a couple of recommendations on how to fix this, but I’m unsure which approach is best: Option 1: Use an email warm-up tool for 7 days, then stop. After that, wait 24 hours before starting real, manual outreach. Option 2: Use an email warm-up tool for 30 days or more. I can begin real outreach around day 15, while keeping the warm-up running in the background alongside my manual outreach. I’m not sure which approach to take, so I’d really appreciate any advice or insights from those with experience. Thanks in advance.

I'd say a version of #2... I usually go at least 3 weeks warming up before sending, but it's different for every email. A month is best, but less may work. One thing I don't think I've ever heard someone suggest, is to start sending live at the same time as warmup. (if you do, SLOW down the warmup emails when you send live, keeping the total under 20-25 a day) I'd suggest warming up properly for 2 weeks, then send around 8-10 emails to people you know as a test, so you can find out if they went to spam. Have those people reply to them all, that's helpful. If they are sending properly, go ahead and start sending. Remember the rules - lower case letters in the subject line, no extreme punctuation, keep the emails short, 3-5 sentences if possible... send 25 a day or so max (less right now for Google emails) no images, no links, and watch for spam words. Don't include words like "sell, buy, free, win, profit, cash, money, etc". Start with less, increase slowly as you go.

It can work, looks like a good plan. I'd suggest around day 14/15 sending a few manual emails to people you know too, to check delivery. Send me a dm if you want, I can give you a few of my emails to try.
"Creating a Lead Magnet" was added to the course!
I completed and added the next video in our email course "Creating a Lead Magnet". A lead magnet is something of value (best when it's something you give away for free, that people are willing to pay for) you offer your fans in exchange for their email address. Smell the Roses... you deserve it!
There’s a strange pressure that shows up this time of year, especially as we get closer to NY's Eve. If the year went well, it nudges you quietly: “Don’t slow down. Keep the pace. Do more.” If the year was hard, it’s louder and more urgent: “Fix it now. Hurry. There’s still time before January 1.” Either way, here you are — Christmas week — and work is probably still lingering in your thoughts. (I KNOW they are in mine, lol) So here’s a gentle reminder… Not this week. This isn’t the week to analyze what worked or what didn’t. It's not the week to beat yourself up over missed goals. It's not the week to mentally rewrite the entire year. This is the week to unplug. ❤️ To be with your people. 💚 To laugh way too loud. ❤️ To play games that get a little out of hand. 💚 To eat alllll the food. ❤️ To enjoy slow mornings without an agenda. This week is about being, not becoming. You don’t need a standout year to earn this break! You don’t need to check every box to be worthy of rest.... because here’s the truth we forget far too easily… Your business does not define you. Your revenue is not your worth. A single calendar year doesn’t get to decide how you feel about yourself. You work hard. Truly hard. When a week shows up inviting you to step away — you should take it. We'll be here next year. (with some amazing stuff!) The internet isn't going anywhere. Take time with things that matter. Have a blessed holiday season... Deacon Nick
