Do it! Because whatever you currently sell will get 100 times better. As the skool infrastructure gives you a great blueprint of the best ways you can give amazing value to your community / customers.

@Dave Donoghue not a bad strategy. Better to have some life inside vs an empty paid community.
How do YOU stay focused?
When building a new business, group, platform, it is easy to get distracted and sidetracked. Life happens, family matters happens, pets happen, etc. How do you stay committed and focused when the "squirrels" of life are vying for your attention?

@Eric Ardito haha cheeeeah buddy!
Donโ€™t start a free community
Free communities are the most valuable asset to your personal brand when done right. But the truth is most people donโ€™t know how to setup and run a free community so focus on these things and you will see a better engagement + conversion. If you canโ€™t do this itโ€™s better to stick with a paid community and a free PDF/ course You need : Automated on-boarding Member tracking Challenges Weekly calls Daily posts Any questions? This is such a big decision! Free vs paid is a very tricky one. I'm with you on having a paid community but depending on your audience it can be hard to get people on to a new platform aka skool and making them pay even just $1 creates even more friction. I have been focused on my paid community as it has EVERYTHING I could offer in there. But down the line I may add a free one to have a pool of leads that are already on skool and understand the value of the platform.

๐Ÿค“ 3 Things I've learned since joining Skool
I have not been on Skool that long but this is for sure my favorite place to be at the moment. I'm having so much fun here and I just wanted to share 3 things I've learned since joining Skool and working with the communities with @Ryan Duncan and @Dave Heraud 1. Building trust within online communities begins with transparent communication. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Creating trust within a Skool community starts with being open and honest in how we communicate and what we communicate. Using Gifs has been a fantastic way for us to break barriers and foster a community where people go to have fun and enjoy themself. Why so serious right? I also believe it's about creating a safe space for people to feel comfortable giving their opinions. Someone who has also done a great job of this in their community is @The Mind Supply 2. Less is more ๐Ÿ˜Œ On the Skool games ceremony, Alex mentioned today how less is more. When there's less to process or understand, it's easier for people to grasp the message or concept within a community. Having fewer distractions allows for better concentration on what truly matters, leading to deeper understanding or appreciation and also deeper connections that allow you to retain members for longer. A concise message or a minimalist design can often have a more significant impact. 3. Focus on the small things while you build ๐Ÿค Small wins count just as much as big wins. Take it step by step: Don't overwhelm yourself by looking at the big picture all at once. Break down the process into smaller, achievable tasks. Just focus on one thing at a time, like setting up your about page or connecting with other people. And lastly, remember your why: Think about why you wanted to start this community in the first place. Keeping your purpose front and center can help you stay focused and driven. What have you learned since joining Skool?
