We’ve just unlocked Situation 3! Navigating a new city's subway or bus system can be one of the most intimidating parts of travel. Today, we learn how to be the "Expert Guide" at the ticket machine and on the platform.
The Challenge:
Choose one of the three scenarios from your workbook (Airport Express, Family Tickets, or Bus Transfers). Using the 4-Step Flow (Navigating, Explaining, Providing Guidance, Closing), write out how you would help a visitor navigate the local metro system.
Example Format to Follow:
- Scenario: Scenario 1 (The Airport Express)
- My Response: "Hi! Are you looking for the airport? You need to take the Express Line from Platform 4. It is a direct line, so you don't need to change trains. Just follow the yellow signs on the floor to find the platform. Have a safe and comfortable trip!"
