YouTube is trialling Direct Messages.
YouTube is running this test in Ireland and Poland at the moment and say this is a highly requested feature. If it goes ahead, people will be able to send clips and chat about them inside the mobile app -like Instagram. It will also scan the messages to ensure community guidelines compliance.
Remember they released this in 2017 then scrapped it 2 years later?
They haven't revealed what they will name it yet (but what would you name it if you had naming rights???)
