I have been a part of this community of creatives since June. The encouragement I have received to focus on being human when acting and not performing on camera has really allowed me to approach this craft from a different perspective. Each members willingness to step away from ego and embrace the exercises with authenticity, whether younger or more experienced, has encouraged me to share more freely and get back in touch with my love of acting and music. Extremely helpful! I’ve been a member since May and have had so many amazing opportunities to learn, improve, connect & build something so amazing. I’m thankful for all that this group has to offer. I’d definitely recommend becoming a part of something this awesome. Participation is key! Join the weekly meetings and see the networking that can be done, the advice that’s given and discover new ways to build your skills.

Although I am a member of two other Skool communities, the “You’re Awesome” community is unique in offering a plethora of beneficial elements to my acting passions. The Team, lead by Alan Powell, meets often and members can choose from the many topics and exercises led by industry professionals as well as very experienced artists. One of my favorite opportunities has been the monthly "accountability partner" sessions.

Everyone is incredibly welcoming and supportive. I’ve had a lot of fun and I’ve grown as an actor. A huge thank you to Alan Powell for creating such a wonderful space for actors and for genuinely wanting to help us grow and give us opportunities, and to Melissa for being so kind and supportive. Everyone in this community is truly AWESOME!
