Hey yoga family!
I’m posting this here to make it "official" and hold myself accountable. For the next 30 days, I am committing to getting on my mat every single morning for myself (and no, teaching my scheduled classes doesn't count!).
As a Yoga teacher, I’ve realized I’ve fallen into a common trap: I spend all my energy pouring into my students' bodies, minds, and souls, but I’ve been neglecting my own. Between managing a household, raising children, and running classes, my personal practice is usually the first thing to slide off the schedule.
I know I feel 100% better when I prioritize my own breath and movement, and I’m ready to make that a non-negotiable again.
I’d love to hear from the community (especially the parents and fellow teachers here):
- How do you protect your personal practice time when life gets chaotic?
- Do you have a specific "ritual" that helps you transition from "Teacher/Parent Mode" into "My Time"?
I’d love any tips on staying consistent! Let's hold each other steady. 👇
