BOOK REVIEWS There is so much that goes into being a successful author. We gamified it and broke it down into smaller pieces. Author Challenges: Weekly skill to grow your IMPACT
Most book launches donโ€™t fail because of bad marketing. They fail because the message isnโ€™t clear.
Iโ€™ve seen authors try 20 different strategies, ads, reels, newsletters, TikTok, giveawaysโ€ฆ and still feel like their book is invisible. But hereโ€™s the thing: ๐Ÿ‘‰ If you canโ€™t explain what your book actually offers a reader in 1โ€“2 sentences that spark curiosity and connectionโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘‰ If your blurb feels โ€œmehโ€ even to youโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘‰ If your hook sounds just like everyone elseโ€™sโ€ฆ โ€ฆthen no amount of promotion will save it. Hereโ€™s a dead simple question that always helps me (and a few author friends) fix this fast: โ€œWhy would a complete stranger care about this story?" Not your friends. Not people who write in your genre. A cold reader. One youโ€™ve never met. When you answer that honestly, the fog starts to lift. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Whatโ€™s your answer to that question, why would someone who doesnโ€™t know you at all care about your book? Drop it below, Iโ€™ll give feedback if you want it. ๐Ÿ‘‡
She Helped Everyone But Herself
Elena loved books. Not just reading them but breathing life into them. She wasnโ€™t a bestselling author, but she was the reason many existed. As a quiet force behind dozens of indie successes, she poured her heart into helping authors get seen. She promoted their work like it was her own. She stayed up at night fixing launch plans, emailing bloggers, scheduling interviews always pushing others into the spotlight. But there was one thing Elena never did. She never asked for help. She had a story too. A novel she never finished. It sat in drafts, waitingโ€ฆ but she was too busy promoting everyone else to publish her own. Years passed. The authors she helped went on to fame. Some forgot her name. Elena burned out. Her business failed. Her story was never told. Until one day, a dusty file was found on her laptop. Echoes in the Margins. A haunting novel about a woman who gave everything to lift others and vanished in the process. It went viral. But Elena never saw it. She died before it was published.
