The biggest excuse I throw at myself for not starting a new idea is "It's been done before! There's no point!"
And of course it has - that story, that idea, that event, that situation.
Everything's been done a gazillion times...
But not by YOU, with your voice - your unique voice.
That's the reason to tell the story - no one's heard your version of it yet.
(So, if you don't tell it, you're actually really selfish and I want you to GO AWAY AND THINK ABOUT THAT)
