Sometimes our creative flair is fanned into flame by taking ourselves away from our normal environs and out on a creative date! Julia Cameron, who wrote "The Artist's Way," said, "An artist date is a block of time, especially set aside and committed to nurturing your creative consciousness, your inner artist. I must say I felt so inspired after my little outing last week! @Debra Verrall I'll be needing to make an outfit to wear to the next event! I may need your help! If you haven't seen it already, then here it is - the lovely picnic I attended over Easter.

Some months ago, I was all excited to make a costume for Jane Austen's 200th birthday party, which my friend was hosting. Sadly, I didn't make it or the costume, due to this busy cottage life. However, today is a different story. I'm thrilled to be off on another adventure to a little country town called Harvey here in the Southwest of Australia, for another Historic event. I'll be borrowing an outfit for the day and will definitely be filming this for the YT channel so I can show you all. I thought I'd share my latest shenanigans at the cottage and an update on the Studio build - it's a bit of a "Step Toe, and Son" show at the moment but we will make it beautiful as time & money allows!

I just thought I'd share this for fun! It's me and my girl and a naughty goose called Baby! In case you're wondering why he has funny wings .... my son overfed him protein when he was a baby, and this was the result, it's called Angel Wings, but he's no Angel!
