Write something
Good morning or is it may be evening where you are.
Lots is going on at the cottage this week, and I haven't much time - life has thrown a little curve ball, changes are afoot, but for now, here's a little glimpse into life at the cottage! More about the curveball later!
Bullett Journalling
Do you know what a bullet journal is? 🌟 Have you ever tried it? I used this method for a few years before COVID and found it very helpful. It's a way of keeping a journal, diary and calendar all in one. I'd show you mine, but I accidentally left it in New Zealand just before lockdown - I'm going back in November, so I'll be able to bring all my treasured journals home at last! Watch this short clip to see how it's works. The second clip shows a more in-depth layout - where you can get creative! I used the more creative option and altered it to fit my needs.
Creating is fun
These are some little creations I made to sell on Etsy and at markets a while back - i love starting something and not really knowing what it will be until about halfway through! Though the trouble is, I hardly ever make 2 things the same🤪! Though TBH the journey is just as good as the destination! What are you working on this week?

The "Messy" Beauty of Cottage Life 🌿
Hi everyone, I’ve been reflecting lately on what it means to live a truly "creative" life. Sometimes we think it’s about the finished product, but lately, for me, it’s about the moments in between. (Just as well because I'm not getting a lot of 'finishing' done these days!) Watching my ducks and my goose, Baby, splash in the pond and run to meet me (even if they leave a mess behind!) is something that is filling my tank right now. I love the mornings spent in quiet reflection, even when that silence is joyfully interrupted by my grandkids. 😅 It’s reminded me that we don't need a "perfect" setup to be happy. My cottage is tiny, and I’m still waiting on a kitchen, wondering if I'll ever have one, but it’s taught me that the simple things—and the people we love—are what truly feed the soul. I’d love to know: What is one "simple thing" in your home or workspace today that is bringing you joy? 🕊️
