Lately, I’ve been really thinking about whether going to college is the right move for me. There’s a lot of pressure around education and career paths, and honestly, it feels like everyone has a different opinion on what’s “best.”
But here are the questions I’m asking myself:
- Will a degree help me reach my long‑term goals?
- Do I want the structure, networking, and learning environment that college provides?
- Is the investment worth the opportunities it could open up?
- And most importantly — is it the right fit for my learning style and where I see myself in the future?
College can offer a lot: new experiences, connections, career advancement, and access to fields that require degrees. But it’s also a big commitment — time, money, and focus.
So now I’m curious…
For those who went to college:
Was it worth it?What did you gain from it?Anything you wish you knew before starting?
