How are you recording your audio for your videos?
Audio quality is arguably more important than video quality. Our ears are sensitive, and we like things that sound aesthetically pleasing (just ask anyone who’s into ASMR). People will watch a poor quality video with decent or great audio. But let’s say you have 4k crispy video and perfect lighting with terrible audio? I’m clicking away from that video 100% of the time.
I have two main mics I use, and both plug directly into my smart phone:
For tabletop setup, the Shure MV7+ podcasting mic is my go-to. Excellent sound quality, noise cancellation, and a professional look, all at a reasonable price: https://amzn.to/4nzMguq For all other applications, the DJI Mic Mini is a fantastic choice and comes with two mics for interview style videos: https://amzn.to/4g98TmH (fyi I am an Amazon affiliate and earn from qualifying purchases, always at no additional cost to you)
